Stopped here last weekend for drinks and gaming. Dueling pianos was very fun and the table games were great too. Very reasonable. $5 blackjack tables. Friendly/fun dealers and wait staff is very attentive. Place is clean and modern and great ventilation, very little smoke. Parking a breeze, right in front of the doors - no long walk at all. Great / fun stop. Highly recommend!!

Tried the buffet, super not impressed. The beer options available were suitable for what beer I like to drink. Saw a band or two a few times in the back bar where the stage is.....they were ok, nothing to write home about. Plenty of parking at any time that I went to this establishment. It's a casino, need I say more? Thank you DJC!

Casino was nice. Clean. Had lots of penny slots, which I had never seen before. Would go here again, but not make a specific trip to go here. We were in town for something else.

Dinner buffet offered variety, but everything tasted the same. Waitress has so many tables and was constantly running, so it was difficult to get drink refills. I'm not blaming her at all, she had way to many tables to take care of them all properly.
Overall food was very disappointing. We wouldn't go back again.

I'm not really a casino person but my wife and I visited this facility as we were staying in the area. This is a really nice, clean casino with updated slots and full table games. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Worth a visit even if you don't gamble. Also has a bowling alley attached and a couple of restaurants that looked nice, though we did not try the food at either.

The casino is very impressive for a Midwest based operation. Nice facilities, new and shiny, lots of folks enjoying the facilities! Lots of machines and games to choose,the roulette table was busy and very exciting, won a few bucks! Went for drinks in bar, band was spectacular, I had to go back out and check the sign as I thought they were zz top! Actually zz3...really enjoyed a Vegas quality show, and with no cover!!! Will be checking bands to perform and be back for some more good times!

Cherry Lane was fun, but the Dueling Pianos were the best! The duo performed non-stop for over 3 hours, playing hit after hit. Super fun! Played the slots afterwards until 3:00am... But came out ahead so it's all good!

I recently went with a group of 50 plus people. Stayed in their hotel. Of the 50 plus people over half of were rejected. They kept saying you came on the bus. We didnt get the 25.00 casino money and threatened to call the sheriff to all of us. You are not able to laugh out loud or have a good time. If you do drink they will threaten you with public intoxication anf havr you arrested if .08. The staff is rude. They targeted all of us on the bus by taking video pictures of us not allowing us in in the morning even. This place is a joke. Dont go to a state owned casino they are the biggesy joke around. They will also run your id and in my case not givr ot back. Nice

We are sorry you and your group did not have a pleasant experience. In order to address this problem we need to make sure it was the Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque that you visited, as we do not have a hotel, and are not state owned.

The Diamond Jo does not have a hotel, but Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark is right across the street. Hotel Julien and Holiday Inn are located a short distance away on Main St. We do provide shuttle service to area hotels. We are also across the street from National Mississppi River Museum and Aquarium. Hope to see you soon!
