We are concerned to read your feedback and have discussed each point with the rest of the management team and would like to respond as follows.

Reception - Jade was the lady at Reception who checked you in. Jade is originally from London, but has been living and working in Pembrokeshire for 5 years. That said, we employ our staff on their experience and ability to do the job and not on where they are from.

Iron - Following your feedback the housekeeping team now check that irons stored in wardrobes before each new guest visit.

Construction work - We are very sorry that the work disturbed you during your stay. Currently we are extending the Grove on the far west side of the house which is largely out of sight from guests but of course at times this will make some level of noise. We continue to work closely with the different contractors to ensure that any noise disturbance is kept to a very minimum.

Breakfast - Alison our Breakfast Supervisor was delighted to read your feedback.

Food - Our Head Chef was disappointed that you didn't enjoy his style of food.

January Special – We want to make it clear that this wasn’t a malicious attempt to overcharge. However the booking was somewhat confused by the fact that you had a Romantic package during the January Special period. The reservations team that took your original booking made some basic errors in capturing how the booking was charged. Upon checkout this did confuse our Reception Manager Nina, who I believe corrected the rate for you. We have recently invested in a new Hotel Management System, which is currently being installed which will help our reception avoid similar problems in the future.

Overpriced – We continue to monitor our prices closely on a regional and national level to ensure they accurately reflect the quality that we are providing.
