I apologize greatly that this had happened to you. As i'm sure you can agree all of us do make mistakes and while we strive for excellence and number one customer service we clearly have let you down as a customer during this mishap. Thank you kindly for your review. Unfortunately when guests go outside for a smoke or leave the door open (when they are not supposed to) the smell very well could linger in the hallway. Our hotel is very strict when it comes to guests smoking in non smoking rooms and we have tent cards in each room to specifically state that should a guest smoke in a non smoking room, they will be charged a $150.00 cleaning fee which we make sure stays in effect.

I really wish you would have called me or the supervisor on duty so that I could have rectified this problem for you and put you in a room that did not have this problem. If you visit the niagara falls region again please do not hesitate to give me a call and I will make sure that this does not happen again!

I am happy you liked our new duvets and the large whirlpool tubs. We often get quite a few compliments that they are very large and most of the time one of the biggest in room whirlpools they have seen in a hotel room before.
