Thank you for your very honest review. We love to read pleasant down to earth reviews like yours. It's true, if your looking for a 4-5 star resort experience then you should consider staying at one or our local casino hotels, however, if you want to save money on lodging and spend it on food and recreation, then perhaps we are just what your looking for. We offer very clean, comfortable and convenient lodging at the very best prices in our area.

Thank you very much for your candid summary. Our excellent location on the Heavenly bus route and value add ons like our free expanded continental breakfast, free guest laundry and fitness rooms, free wifi and helpful staff are routinely mentioned as our guest favorites. I wish you had come by the front desk and let us know your thoughts about the bed in your room. We would have offered to show you a similiar room or perhaps a free upgrade would have been in order. It's too bad that most complaints we receive originate from noise of other guests. We have installed signage throughout our hotel for guests to respect other guests right to quiet but it's often ignored. This time of the year with ski boots and sporting gear hauled up and down stairs there is often some associated noise. Thank you for your complimenting review. I have to say that every single employee at Best Tahoe West Inn takes our visitors experience personally. We have routine staff meetings to discuss how we can improve and sustain positive guest experiences. Our rooms have been inspected up to three times before occupancy. Everything from our Housekeeping Supervisor leveling lamp shades and fluffing pillows to our Maintenance Supervisor checking remote controls, light bulbs and shower fixtures.
