Dear Smithy,
Thanks for your review, I appreciate your time in writing the review.
As other reviewers have suggested, the neighboring streets of the property are being re-done by Auckland City Council as an effort to improve down town Auckland. This is nearly complete and has not caused any inconvenience thus far, they have been great in allowing hotel guests full access to and from the property.
We are in Down town Auckland Smithy, there are always going to be advantages and disadvantages with such a central location. Our property has one of the best waterfront locations in Auckland, we are very proud of what we have.
I am glad you enjoyed the apartment, we offer comfortable apartments that are pedantically cleaned by our dedicated in-house housekeeping team.

We appreciate you review of Auckland Harbour Oaks. It is disappointing to read that you found several elements of your stay unsatisfactory and we do apologise for this.

I am disappointed to hear that your stay at Auckland Harbour Oaks did not live up to your expectations. We have a great apartments with some of the best views in Auckland, perhaps you were placed in a wrong room at the get go? If given the opportunity, we would have been glad to help you go into a room that you were expecting. I apologise for the inconvenience caused but am glad your stay in Auckland ended up being as planned.

Thank you for your review. I am glad you made alternative arrangements in regards to the car parking, as with most properties in central Auckland, car parking is an absolute premium and pre booking is essential.
