Hi ya. Many thanks for your lovely review. We are very happy that you have got the Guesthouse bug! Occasionally we do have a little street noise but thankfully not very often. Hi guys. Thank you very much for your review. The "Loft" doesn't suit everyone, especially the tall but it is great for groups of four who are definitely not planning on spending much time in their rooms but out enjoying Brighton, especially with the added space of the kitchenette on the landing. The Feature rooms are our biggest rooms so give us a call direct next time for our best prices. Best wishes, Mardi and Dan.

Hi guys. Thank you very much for your review. Yes, our Double ensuite rooms are definitely cosy and our Feature rooms at the front of the guest house are our bigger rooms with the sea view and balconettes. If you are staying longer than a couple of nights then we suggest you book a feature room for comfort. However, as you point out, you don't have time to spend in your room when you visit Brighton as there is so much going on. Guest houses and B&B's are generally cosy due to their nature. Maybe a bigger hotel would have suited you both. When you visit "Guest and the City" you pay for the quality of decor and furnishings, customer service, cleanliness, reputation and a superb breakfast with local ethically sourced ingredients. Please feel free to compare our prices to other guesthouses of a similar quality. You will find that we are very competitively priced. Best wishes, Mardi and Dan.
