I'm Ivan from Spain, went to Igloo Hostel alone the 12th of March 2008. The reason why I went to Nottingham was because I wanted to improve my english while living and working in there and hopefully meeting new people. To be honest, I wasn't too sure about the goodness of spending my first days in a hostel sharing a room with people I didn't know at all, but one thing I was sure about was that I needed a cheap place to stay for few days before I could find a proper accommodation like a share house.
When B, the landlady (such a nice person you must meet at least once before you die), asked me during the check in, how long I was going to stay in the Igloo Hostel I said to her in my bad english: Look, I'm looking for a proper accommodation to live in, I won't spend here more than two-three nights. Beleave it or not, I was happily living in The Igloo Hostel for 11 months. And those months have been such a nice time I will never forget in my life. If you have the chance to stay there, no matter how long for, you'll meet special people who creates a special enviroment, you'll feel something there you'll find it difficult to describe by words, something that makes a difference...[--]
