Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay with us and apologies that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion.
It is always pleasing to read positive remarks about the staff as in this industry they can make such a difference during a stay away whether on business or leisure.
I have taken on board the comments regarding the comfort of the bed during your stay and will be reviewing this with the assistance of the Housekeeping Manager over the coming weeks and make the relevant purchases where necessary.
In relation to the WIFI and car parking charges, these are due to existing contracts and systems implemented ensuring that all guests have spaces available for them, although we do review these charges regularly.
Once again thank you for your feedback and do not hesitate to contact me direct if I can be of any further assistance.

Thank you for choosing the Mercure White Hart for your Christmas Celebrations and for the positive and constructive feedback which has been shared with team.
I was happy to read that the entertainment provided was to your liking as it is important that we have the right entertainment during this Festive period to everyones tastes either musically or otherwise with the quizes, panto and magician.

The hotel is in a great location in the city centre in close proximatey to the shops and historical sites including the cathedral and with ample on site car parking available for our guests.
We do have a number of complimentary papers in the lounge for the guests however when ordered these are charged accordingly and can only apologise that this was not explained at the time. The car parking charges were introduced when the barrier was constructed to ensure that all our residential guests had spaces available to them.

Thank you for your feedback following your recent stay and apologies for not meeting your expectations on this occasion, however thank you for your kind words about the breakfast on the first morning. The breakfast menu is available alongside our hot buffet offering haddock, kippers etc and I can only apologise that a menu was not readily available on the second morning.
The bedroom corridors and stairwells have been recently re carpeted in August 2011 and have asked that the housekeeping team pay particular attention to this when cleaning the public areas.
The car parking charges have been in place for a number of years when the barrier was constructed to ensure that all our residential guests had spaces available to them, and the charges advertised accordingly.
