Thank you for taking the time to point out issues with your recent stay at the Carlton, I am sorry to read that we did not meet your expectations. I do view your issues seriously and will look into them. I am not sure who you requested a low floor with but you can rest assured that we try to deal with all requests as best we can, it is not always possible as we deal with several requests at a time. I must say that I am unhappy with my staff saying that they could not run up and down turning the radiator on and off, I do realise that it was not your fault that there was a problem in the first place. Front of house staff have been reminded that we are here to ensure that guests receive first class service. Room 200 is not that small again it was not to your satisfaction, we do hope that you will try Bay hotels again and give us a second chance, if you do please phone the hotel directly to ensure that your requests are indeed on record. To finish I am pleased you enjoyed the food and that the restaurant service was fantastic.

Dear reviewer thank you for taking the time to post a review regarding the Carlton hotel. It seems that the other guests you may have spoken to could have possibly been self-drive guests and that is why they paid less, we as a company do also run promotions in the weekend national papers to obtain discounts. Coaches are more expensive than self-drive as there is the added cost of the fuel for the coach and any excursions that are included. Hope this clarifies you comments.

Dear Reviewer thank you for your comprehensive review, which on the whole is positive. The one issue that I would like to explain was the lack of hot water which was not a straightforward solution, the boilers although working were not producing hot water, the issue was finding the problem as it was sporadic so when hot water was being produced there was not enough time to get it to a high temperature before the issue returned. My sincere apologises.
