Thank you for your review and your kind words in regards to the staff. We try are hardest to accomodate all of our guests so when the unfortunate circumstance of your dinner being canceled by the Fort Drum liasion, we jumped in to try and accomodate and help as much as we could. We were not going to be open for dinner that night because of another group that had taken the dining room for a Christmas Party and what we thought was going to be a Dinner for your retreat was cancelled. Therefore we opened up a side room and were able to serve dinners for your group. Our Bistro menu is very affordable with dinners ranging from $13.00 to $25.00. The Group leader had to honor the per diem rate of $18.00, there was plenty to choose from. There is no excuse for what the waitress did and it has been taken care of. So please try our Bistro for yourselves, sometimes there are two sides to every situation.

Thank you for your review, It is important that we hear all comments whether they are positive or negative.Please be assured that we pride ourselves in Customer Satisfaction, when a customer feels that they have been treated in such a unproffesional way It saddens me to know this. Please be assured that I will look into every comment made by the reviewer and make sure that this does not happen. We look foward to all our Group Functions especially this time of the year when things slow down a bit. We wish to make every customers experience an enjoyable one. I am sorry that this reviewer did not have an enjoyable stay.

I would like to Thank you for your review of the Riveredge. I am glad you were able to take advantage of our dicounted rates, we reduce are rates in November and part of December not many people are aware of this, we do this so guests can still enjoy the beauty of the Thousand Islands, or maybe visit with friends that they have made up here. There are a few shops open downtown, one is called River Living and everyone should stop by and visit they have a number of affordable unique items, also we are only 25 minutes away from the Shopping Hub of Watertown NY, and of Course the Winery that you mentioned Coyote Moon is doing a fabulous job. Everyone should take advantage of our prices while they are doing some shopping or visiting.

Thank you for your recent stay at the Riveredge Resort we are glad that you enjoyed your stay here in our quaint village of Alexandria Bay. We hope to see you again, the Autumn views on the River are breathtaking.

I would like to Thank you for choosing our Resort, I appreciate the fact that you can see we are a work in progress. We strive towards being the best and we will contine to work towards that goal. I am glad you liked the fact that we are also trying to go green it is a big undertaking but every little bit helps. Thank you for your concerns about the checks and we will be looking into alternative solutions. We look foward to seeing you back again with your children, there is so much beauty here I am sure they will enjoy themselves.
