Thank you so much for staying with us over the Ice Festival, and taking the time to write a review of our property.
All of us at the Box Canyon Lodge are committed to creating an atmosphere which is both comfortable and convenient for our guests. The four mineral hot spring tubs terraced on the hillside in our courtyard provide a great way to relax after a long day of ice climbing. We have been fortunate to be able to take advantage of the mineral hot springs by converting our entire property to geothermal heat, which has helped to earn us a Four Key Green Key rating.
I couldn't agree with you more about the pleasure of sleeping under a pile of warm blankets in a cool room. Our housekeepers do try to make sure there is an extra blanket in the dresser of every room, and the front desk staff keep extra blankets in the office should you need more.
The Box Canyon Lodge is an older property, and we strive to keep it up to date and soundproofed, recently we replaced all of our windows and the doors in the southwest building, however sound does occasionally travel through the walls particularly when there are alot of happy guests celebrating a great weekend. If ever the noise gets to be too much though, please don't hesitate to call the Front Desk after hours line and we will immediately address the issue.
