There are always pros and cons to wherever you stay. Sunny Place, Unit 2 is a wonderful small one bedroom apartment style lodging. It is close to all amenities, including the beautiful Pompano Beach only 1 block away. Leave your car in the parking lot at the apartment and walk to the luscious sandy beach with beautiful views and ocean breezes.
The apartment itself is lovely. It isn't a 5 star however you will find everything you need there. All kitchen supplies, laundry facilities, free parking on site are supplied. The large private bedroom with a king size bed is a welcome surprise. We didn't find anything that would stop us from recommending this cute haven.
There are some areas that can be considered opportunities for a better experience. The internet connection was beyond flakey. It only worked about 20% of the time. The connection itself was not the problem but either the cable supplying the service or the fact that the hardware is located in a humid, unairconditioned area may be the cause. But it definitely was an issue for us as this was a partial family vacation as well as a working vacation. If traveling on business of any kind this would absolutely not be adequate. We tried at various times during the morning, afternoon and evening. The connection was connecting but the service just did not recognize it.
We traveled with our small son and found that the pull out couch looks and works just great until you pull out the mattress. It really could be updated so that the mattress doesn't fall when sleeping on it. I can't imagine two people sleeping on there. Our son slept sideways on the mattress to enjoy a comfy sleep.
Other than those two obvious possible upgrades the place provided an excellent mini vacation for our family.

Thank you for your nice review of Sunny Place. We enjoyed having you and are pleased that you found the apartment attractive, well supplied and in a good location by our beautiful beach. It is not typical at all for us to have Internet problems, and I'm very sorry that you experienced trouble with it. I think it was just a case of bad timing. We bought a new router to replace the one that had served us for quite a while, and feel that the many business travelers who stay with us can count on having reliable service as we've always had in the past. I was also not aware of the sleeper sofa problem until reading this review, and wish we would have known right away so we could have taken action to fix it. We like to keep all of our furniture new or like new. Please don't hold back telling owners when there is a problem, no matter how big or small. I especially take every concern seriously and prefer to take steps qulckly to more than satisfy our guests.
