Just to let you know, Glacier Park, Inc. purchased St. Mary Lodge and took over management mid-season in 2011. Many of the employees were left over from the previous management. In 2012, GPI will be hiring our own staff for the summer season. You will find that in the future, you can expect the same level of integrity as you would at any of our Historic Lodges in and around Glacier National Park. We are so sorry for any lack of service you experienced while staying with us. A little insider’s scoop on the internet in St Mary . . . there is none! The Lodge uses satellite technology to pipe internet in for our guests who find it hard to leave technology behind. We hope that you would look at that as a rustic convenience and not an inconvenience.

I wanted to let you know that average service is not how Glacier Park, Inc. operates and to apologize for any lack of service you may have experienced. 2012 will be the first full season under our new management and I want to assure you that the level of service you will find will be that of the rest of our locations. (GPI owns and/or operates the historic lodges in and around Glacier National Park.)

Thanks for taking your time to comment. Did you have any suggestions on what might improve a stay? We do have a wide variety of room types available, from budget minded guests to the Sun Cabin. I would like to point out the 2012 will be the first full season under the new management of Glacier Park, Inc. (The company that owns and/or operates the historic lodges in and around Glacier National Park.) In the future, you can expect the same level of integrity as you may have found with the rest of our facilities.

Thanks for taking your time to comment. Would more storage options help out at the motel rooms? We can look into that. Just a little bit of insider info for you on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. You can call 406.888.7800 for an automated hot line on the seasonal closure of the Road. The Park Service updates it daily or “as conditions warrant”.

I just wanted to thank you for taking time to comment and to let you know that Glacier Park, Inc. is the company that purchased St. Mary Lodge. We are the company that owns and/or operates many of the Historic Lodges in and around Glacier Park. We have a great reputation and for a reason. Integrity is the backbone of our company. Rest assured that the issues that you noticed and mentioned would not be issues in the future. I am so sorry that your stay with us was not what it should have been.
