This reviewer actually has several valid points. We are most definitely a house that is renting rooms-- which is typically the definition of a bed and breakfast. We are in fact, an original 1950's boarding "house" and not a new or luxury hotel in any way. We have made many upgrades to the building, but because we are a historic property there are sometimes architectural challenges and not everything can be done as seamlessly as if one was dealing with a property built more recently. The laundry is located off the back of the kitchen and because our parking is also located off the rear of the house, guests do sometimes enter through this entrance to find the Innkeepers as they are usually inside working. I'm sorry this was a disappointment but it's the way the building is laid out and can't be changed. What we do offer is fantastic service and breakfasts (which I think is clearly stated in prior reviews), excellent proximity to the beach and clean, cozy rooms in an atmosphere where you can truly relax. If you are looking for luxury accommodations and only modern, high end appointments in your room--then this is not the bed and breakfast for you. Our rates are very competitive with other accommodations in the area that offer our same amenities and while it's not perfect--our B&B offers a charm and character that most guests truly appreciate-- that you simply can't find at newer, cookie cutter hotels.
