The Anchorage recently completed an enhancement project to give it a more fresh, contemporary look. And with over a proud 35-year-plus history of dining excellence in the area, I am glad that you were able to enjoy it all! Appreciated for its unique and fresh seafood entrees, The Anchorage has selections flown-in from all coasts. But with the addition now of Allen Brothers' steaks, all dining preferences can be successfully addressed!

The Anchorage is one of the many special features and amenities that does set the Hilton Milwaukee River apart as a unique destination! Our enhancement projects this spring will now focus on the Hotel side of our property, with upgrades planned for our complimentary internet system, the addition of in-room safes and more HD television channels, all leading up to new carpeting and wallpaper in our guestroom corridors.

I'm glad that you took the advise of an associate who previously stayed with us, and were able to experience everything first-hand! We are a convenient and affordable full-service hotel option compared to Downtown Milwaukee, allowing you to still be close to venues such as the Bradley Center, the Summerfest Grounds, The US Cellular Arena, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and your own recent destination, Turner Hall! This adds to our own proximity to sites such as the Bayshore Town Center, the Sprecher Brewery, and Brown Deer Park.

Thank you for your comments about your stays at our Hotel, and in particular, about your experiences in the bar of The Anchorage!

Your observations are encouraging, as I'd like to believe that either events were mistaken or taken slightly out of context from past comments. Regardless, they were immediately addressed with a zero tolerance agreement in place. Additionally, our staffs of both the Hotel and The Anchorage have been working very hard to present guests with a formal, professional, and affordable setting.
