Dear Rental Community & Renter,

We are sorry for the review that has been posted. Not because it is entirely false, but because it is so misleading. At times we have people review units and its constructive and we react and this one is no exception in that we will suggest and have the owner replace/ upgrade sheets if needed, fix the DSL cable (if it is in fact broken), etc. We will inspect and address any actual issues.

This review is the first that I have heard about this so the mention that Hestara said, "you're on your own" is - to be clear - untrue. I want to further clarify by addressing some of the comments in the review. Hawaii taxes are normal. Everyone charges those. When buying material items, etc., taxes are not included, nor are they when renting condos. If needed, I can further explain to the renter, but its fairly straight forward. Both Sealodge 1 and Sealodge 2 have on-site managers. The review is false in stating that Sealodge 1 doesn't have an on-site manager. The reviewing may not have noticed the welcome letter or the signs displayed contact information for the managers. Hestara is a rental agent and manages the bookings for individual owners as does any rental agent for Hawaii condos (that is all). I am not sure why the renter was not able to reach Hestara or anyone at Hestara. The only way this would occur is if they had the wrong phone number or they had tried to communicate via snail mail...?

Hestara welcomes everyone and anyone back to our units (unless they vandalize property) and we wish to accommodate, "VWinter" as well. Feel free to call us anytime and ask for anyone of us.
