Tengo nada excepto cosas buenas que decir sobre las Amelia Payson House y es propietarios. Mi habitación estaba extremadamente limpia y cómoda y los propietarios eran simpáticos, serviciales, y conocimientos sobre Salem. Nunca me he alojado en un alojamiento tan extraordinario como el Amelia Payson House y cuando mi marido y yo volvería a Salem, sin duda nos alojaremos allí de nuevo. En una escala de una a 10, el Amelia Payson House a conseguir un 15! Muchas gracias por unas excelentes vacaciones!

Thanks Nicole for your nice comments and we are so glad to hear your first stay at a B&B was a positive experience and may have you coming back for more. Each B&B you visit in the future will be a unique adventure and will certainly add to the pleasure of any destination; where you will truly have an authentic experience and not just a room. I’m glad we were able to guide you in the right direction whether it was trains schedules, restaurants, or tours. Vacations are so precious, we always want to make sure guests get to make the most of their time.
Again, thank you for posting your comments on Trip Advisor. Sorry for the firm bed, but after 27 years of pillow talk, we hear firm is better than soft, but a personal choice for sure. Maybe next time you come we can do something to make it a little softer…………Ada May & Don

Our longevity as a B&B has afforded us special relationships with a number of our guests and Terry and Ali have certainly become dear friends and almost family over the many years, where they have made Salem and our B&B their second home. We’ve had the pleasure of watching Ali grow up and their Mother/ Daughter bond mature. It’s always a fun time when they are here and they are such great Ambassadors for all things Salem; and as you can tell, enthusiastic cheerleaders for our B&B. Whether they come in the Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter, they realize Salem offers a different experience in each season and we’re glad they chose us as there comfort station so many years ago. Don and I refer to the room they stay in as Terry and Ali’s room and they are most notably Honorary Citizens of Salem when they come. ( the plaque is coming…….) We're looking forward to many more visits.

Thank you for posting your experience at our Bed & Breakfast. As one of our first guests of our 28th season, it was nice to once again share with you our home and all that Salem has to offer. It’s such a great city to just stroll around all day long, which I remember you did. Glad you had a good time and that we could provide the resting comfort you needed after a full day of touring. One slight correction for those reading this: we host only three rooms now. Donald is happy thinking he’s 25% retired, which is just fine by me. Thanks again, Ada May.

So glad to hear that your returning trip to Salem was so positive and that we were able to host you this time. After 28 years, I guess we’re up to speed….ha, ha. And certainly, a gluten-free breakfast request is so common now, it is not a problem. Our daily five fruit start to a healthy heart has always been part of the breakfast routine, and where there are so many gluten-free products now, it’s also so much easier to adapt recipes and accommodate substitutions.
