We regret that “roaminLimburg” did not enjoy their stay in the Hotel Tyroler Hof. We would like, however, to comment their statement as follows:

The Tyroler Hof is well known for its excellent kitchen and our guests regularly give praise to it, as you can read in other hotel review pages and in our guest book. It seems that we did not meet the taste of “roaminLimburg” that particular evening and also did not have the opportunity to convince them of the quality of our kitchen during the following days.

We offer our guests a 4-course menu every day with the opportunity to choose various courses; so “roaminLimburg” is wrong in saying that they didn’t have the opportunity to choose between courses. They wanted, however, order à la carte, which is not possible in our hotel. The mentioned small piece of pork was actually “Roast Beef Burgundy Style”.

Unfortunately the guests did not mention either to the service staff or to the management that the portions were too small for them, nor that they didn’t like the quality of the food, they just cancelled their dinner without comment. It is of course no problem to serve larger portions or a second serving if the guest wishes so. We will, however, in the future try to better communicate this option to our guests.

We flatly reject the comment that our drinks are overpriced. Our prices are within the local price level. One should consider perhaps that we offer both top quality beers and wines from renowned vineyards and no cheap/no name drinks which could be sold a low prices.

There are 13 parking spaces as well as 8 garage spaces available for 26 rooms. During the stay of “roaminLimburg” there were sufficient parking spaces available as the hotel was not fully booked in that period.
