We traveled with 2 grandparents and 2 small children (1 and 3). We enjoyed staying at the house. It was well-appointed and problems we had were addressed promptly by the maintenance company.
Anyone who stays here should be aware that there are no real bathtubs suitable for bathing children. There is one triangular-shaped deep jacuzzi tub on the 2nd floor, but it does not lend itself to kneeling on the floor, leaning over, bathing your young children. After a couple of frustrating days of wearing my bathing suit in the shower, holding squirmy children in my arms trying to bathe them, I finally realized the laundry room sink would be more suitable and began bathing the kids there. But any child over about 35 pounds would be too big for that sink.
Another note for parents of small kids - baby gates just don't work in this unit. The iron staircase railings are not suitable for gating off the stairs at the bottom or top. I was constantly monitoring my 1-year-old to keep...
