We were blessed to enjoy a beautiful day of Cooking with Rum. We had done this 3 years previous and had such a wonderful time that we knew we had to do it again on our return to Antigua! Nicole is a wonderful host, patient, educational, and fun to be around. You feel like you're in a kitchen with a master chef---because you are! and the food is oh so good! The Plantain chips are to die for, the Sweet Potato Soup--with rum of course, was delicious, and the main course--marinated chicken Thighs with Onion Jam.......oh my. And of course, there's Rum Punch, and Rum Cake for dessert. It's somewhat like going to a 5-star restaurant, enjoying a perfect meal---but also being part of learning how to make all of it (so you can repeat it at home for friends and family)!!
All in all a great experience, one which I highly recommend for anyone and everyone. We were doubly spoiled as well, as we had the opportunity to stay on sight at their cozy bnb studio apartment. It was perfect for us---read all the reviews about that as well----clean, AC, a nice kitchen area, incredible views, everything we needed to enjoy 9.5 days of wonderful Antigua----with a wonderful couple, Nix and Adam, who treated us like family (family that one gets along with, smile). We almost took Jax and Brutus home with us, but was concerned about going thru customs. So, we'll just have to return one day.
Thank you again for allowing us to learn cooking skills that we'll use at home, and for sharing your home with us as well. You guys are incredible!!

M & M... that was one incredible review! Thank you! That said, it was great having you stay with us at "Nicole's BnB with a View of the Caribbean Sea" (sorry, couldn't resist the plug), and take another cooking class with us. Jax is going through his post great guest funk, but he will recover. He is our greater and entertainer for all the guests, a job he takes very seriously. Anyhow, we hope to see you again and loved the photos that you posted on Google.

Nicole’s Table is a must do when we visit Antigua. Nicole and her sous chef get everyone involved in the class and Nicole is a great teacher and chef. One of our group is vegetarian and Nicole went above and beyond to accommodate his dietary choices. We often use the recipes and techniques that we have leaned at our table in Canada. We did the rum tasting with Adam who is a wealth of knowledge in this topic and keeps everyone informed and entertained. We would highly recommend this experience and will be back!

My spouse and I visited Nicole’s Table on 12/23/2022 and were impressed with the stunning views and friendly atmosphere from the minute we walked in. We were greeted with an offer for some passion fruit juice or a cold glass of water upon arrival and then were able to relax for a bit and enjoy the beautiful patio as we waited for the rest of the participants to arrive. It was evident from the start of our Cooking with Rum Class that Nicole is an extremely talented chef and that she was going to make our day fun and engaging. We were able to enjoy our low key instruction with another couple and were fortunate enough to have an extended, multi-generational family (some who were from Antigua and still lived there) also join the class. As we all tagged team and made our way through our recipes with Nicole and her assistant Iana we snacked on Nicole’s Tostones with a yummy dip and then got to a point where our group was able to continue to join in with some of the finishing touches on our meal or take Nicole’s husband, Adam, up on an offer to do a rum tasting. We choose the rum tasting and it did not disappoint. Adam is knowledgeable and passionate about rum and the island of Antigua. He cleverly mixed in facts, along with stories to make the rum tasting entertaining. After the rum tasting our food was finished and we were treated with a whole table full of delicious food on the patio — Sweet Potato Soup with Rum, Rum and Brown Sugar Chicken Thighs with Onion Jam, Red Beans and Rice, Rainbow Garden Salad, Iana’s Pumpkin Fritters…and of course, Nicole’s Butter Rum Cake! My mouth is watering for all of these again as I type this. We would highly recommend this to anyone, but particularly to those who enjoy cooking and want to enjoy an experience unique to the island of Antigua.

We have been traveling all over the Caribbean for 25 years and have done just about every tour you can imagine and were looking for something different and fun. This experience didn't disappoint.
Nicole and Adam are lovely and kind. Their house is beautiful and inviting. The class was hands on, fun, and informative. The Rum tasting was an added bonus. I highly recommend if you have the chance.

Nicole and Adam welcomed us into their beautiful home with warm hospitality. Our Cooking with Rum meal included 7 dishes, each designed for us to participate in the preparation start to finish. The 4 hours flew by as we learned cooking techniques, the recipes, had a rum tutorial and tasting with Adam, then finishing the experience enjoying the company of new friends, drinking rum punch, and savoring the delicious meal. Adam was especially gracious in sharing his well curated rums, ensuring everyone left having tried something new and unique. Nicole’s explanations of the recipes were easy to follow, and now to remember, leaving me eager to cook these new dishes for family and friends. We look forward to attending another class with Nicole the next time we return to Antigua.

Not only do Nicole and Adam have a beautiful home they are both extremely welcoming inviting you into it
We went for the cooking with rum experience which was absolutely brilliant, the food tasted amazing - We couldn’t believe we cooked it and Adam’s knowledge of rum is second to none but I must say I preferred Nicole’s homemade rum - a taste of Christmas in a bottle - delicious
We would highly recommend this experience it’s well worth it - gets a high 5 from us

Nicole took the time to help cook a fabulous rum dinner . we had plantain&gava chips with dip, chicken, rice, rum cake rum punch we had soo much fun cooking and dinning with her Adam gave us a very nice rum tasting . we also stayed at the house B&B for the week what a nice place to stay tried many different beaches , they have two really nice dogs ,nice cat, and turtles and chickens the pool is very refreshing.

My husband Josh and I had the most fabulous time cooking with Nicole and tasting rum with her husband! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and funny, and taught us so much about Caribbean food and Antiguan history. If you'd like an afternoon away from the beach filled with delicious food and drinks, run (don't walk!) to sign up for Cooking with Rum. Thank you for making our honeymoon such a wonderful experience!!

Tolle Erfahrung. Ich habe (mit ein wenig Hilfe von Nicole, ihrer Tochter und der Küchenhilfe) gekocht und gebacken. Großer Spaß in gemütlicher, privater Umgebung. Adam hat ein sehr interessantes Rum-Tasting gemacht. Ganz tolles Event. Würde es gern wiederholen. Habe viel über das Leben auf Antigua erfahren, tolle Menschen kennengelernt, mit Spaß gekocht und lecker gegessen und getrunken. Vielen Dank für den schönen Tag.
