Troy, our driver and tour guide, did a fantastic job with telling of the history of the area. He made sure everyone felt safe on the bikes and made the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We had booked a self-guided tour in advance but upon arrival, we were informed that we were free to join a guided tour. Alain, our guide, was very kind and he took into account everyone’s fitness so nobody felt left out.
In the afternoon, Alain drove us to the vineyards for our wine tour. He was playful with our group, which was nice. We’re not a fan of stiffness so we welcomed him joking around with us.
All in all, a vert fun and diverse day.

Our ‘bike+wine’ tour gives you 2 great experiences in 1 day; first an amazing bicycle tour on the almost flat Historical Kettle Valley Railway and after finishing this tour you take a seat in the van and start the wine tasting tour, visiting 4-5 wineries. This is a full day activity experience

Would highly recommend this tour when visiting Kelowna. Our guide Ben picked us up from our hotel to drive us up to Myra Canyon. The bikes were very comfortable to ride. Ben was an excellent guide, both very knowledgeable about the history of the railway and a funny and personable guy. The railway itself is very impressive and there are great views of the canyon. Our second guide Jonathan guided us through the wine tasting portion of the tour. We had a lot of fun tasting wines and learning about the different wineries. The tour ended with drop off back at our hotel. We flew in to Kelowna and didn’t have a vehicle, so having pick up and drop off from our hotel was very convenient. The bike tour and wine tastings I would say are must do activities in Kelowna, and you get them both covered in 1 tour.

I had booked a bike and wine tour with the Myra Canyon Bike Rentals as a gift for my parents' 25th wedding anniversary. Maarten picked us up at our AirBNB and guided us on the bike trail. He was super informative and funny. The bikes were were ready when we arrived and were very comfortable during our 2,5ish hour guided tour. The trail is absolutely stunning and the views are amazing. Afterwards we had lunch at the first winery we stopped at & then continued to do 4 tastings at other wineries in the area. We had an amazing and memorable day and I would highly recommend booking with these guys!

Hi Lisa, Thank you for your review, Our tours are a great experience for young and old. Our tour guides provide more information about the history of the train rails and its construction. They take pictures of the participants along the way to capture this unforgettable experience. You will be picked up and taken back to your accommodation and the comfortable bicycles will be ready when you arrive. It's an almost flat ride easy to ride

We actually did the self-guided bike tour, with the guided wine tour, and it was a sensational day. We were picked up at our B&B and taken to the starting point for the Canyon bike ride. Bikes were in great shape, snacks and water provided, and off we were. It was especially good that they got us off early because we had the trail largely to ourselves. Near the end it was getting pretty crowded. The ride itself was just beautiful and fun. Easy, slow, pace with plenty of time to stop and enjoy the views.
At the end of the bike tour, we were taken to our first wine tasting and lunch spot. The winery made honey wines, which was new to us and fun. The food was great with a lovely outdoor table. After that, we were driven to 5 (I think) other wineries, all very well chosen for variety and location. Each was fun in a different way. At the end, we were dropped off at our B&B. All in all, this great, family-run business provided us a perfect day in Kelowna!

I took the bike tour with some of the group I was travelling with. Troy was great and helped me get going on my bike several times. I unfortunately had trouble pushing off on the bike to get started. Once going I was fine. He never made me feel bad about that, which I appreciated. I have not been on a bike for years.
It was sunny and cool and great views up there. Great feeling riding along with the cool air in your face.
I would have been fine going in one direction only, might be nice if that was an option. The ride is easy enough, very flat most of the way. It was great!

Thank you for your review, If we have a large or corporate group, we can split the group in smaller groups based on fitness level. The focus of us and our tour guides is always that the tour is a great outdoor experience for everyone, where you cycle through the Myra Canyon at a pace that is suitable for you and can fully enjoy the trail and surroundings

My husband and I had a great time on our guided tour today! Allen was an amazing tour guide and we loved learning about the tresses. I highly recommend this guided tour of the tresses. Amazing views, great people and a memorable time!!!

Het was een geweldige ervaring om met Ben (de gids) deze tocht te maken. Prachtige uitzichten, spannende bruggen en interesante verhalen. Ook de wijn toer in de middag was heel gezellig. 5 wijnhuizen bezocht waar je ook 5 wijnen kreeg te proeven.

Tijdens ons bezoek aan Canada hebben we deze mooie fietstoer in de Myra Canyon gemaakt.
Bij aankomst werden we welkom geheten door een team van sportieve en enthousiasten medewerkers die zorgdragen voor een veilige en gezellige fietstoer.
Wij hebben deze leuke dag afgesloten onder het genot van een goed glas wijn tijdens onze wijntour.
Bij een volgend bezoek aan Canada staat deze excursie weer op onze lijst.....
Bij aankomst werden we welkom geheten door een team van sportieve en enthousiasten medewerkers die zorgdragen voor een veilige en gezellige fietstoer.

Hi Karin thank you for your review we are glad you enjoyed the bike and wine tour this day gives you the opportunity to do the best the Okanagan has to offer in one day. Cycling on the historic train track built between 1912 and 1914 with giant wooden bridges and two tunnels. Then visit 4 wineries where you can taste the wine of the area.
