If I hadn’t prepaid I would have walked away within 5 minutes of the start of our tour. She started off by stating it was a two hour tour until I reminded her it wasn’t. She brushed aside my comment. Our tour guide just started in giving us random facts about the Tower never asking us what we wanted to learn or discover. She had a set speech in mind whether we were interested or not. She ignored our questions. Kept talking when we were obviously trying to read something or trying to ask our questions. Just rude. Repeated, inappropriate personal opinions about Arab sheik money invading London; the current generation and their views on LGTBQ+ and sexist comments made towards me (male). I have been traveling around the world for 35 years and this had to be one of the top 5% wastes of money when it comes to tours. Shameful. She was knowledgeable but disconnected, arrogant, condescending and could not care less about whether we had a good tour. She did her thing and got paid. This is the first time EVER that I didn’t tip a guide. This was my partner’s birthday. As well as her first full day ever in London. A terrible disappointment. Do yourself a favor and book another tour or just listen to the beefeaters and save your money. Oh and she badmouthed her own tour owners/managers. You can read my reviews. I very very rarely post a bad one but I do not want others to experience the same disappointment or incredibly unprofessional guide.

Dear Sir, I thank you for your detailed analysis of our guide to the Tower of London. I passed your comments to her and I am sure she will learn from your comments , I certainly advised her to do just that and keep to herself her personal ideas. Her job is just to illustrate a monument which , as you say, she knows very well. Thank you again, our comments will be useful to all of us.

Private tours in London on the way to go. If you have anything that you are really excited to see that might have really long lines just spend the extra money and booked us because you will be thankful later. Some of the lines to get in to see the crown jewels and other attractions were so knowledgeably long that we were really glad that we did this

Tower Bridge, London, UK :- It can transport you to Victorian London, telling the story of the city’s defining landmark from the very beginning.
One can observe, architecture and engineering, watch city life unfold in panorama from its high-level Walkways and Glass Floors. During the visit you’ll even get to experience the magic of a Bridge Lift beneath your feet. Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London.Taking photographs of the Tower bridge is a favorite London tourist activity, but you can also go inside the bridge, where you'll have a magnificent view over London from the walkway between the two bridge towers.
Inside the bridge is the Tower bridge Exhibition, a display area that encompasses the walkway and the two famous towers where you can observe the Victorian engine room. The bridge is movable. The large vessels, Cruises going to Thames river, can cross the bridge after pulling two parts of bridge in upward direction.
Near about 48,000 people cross Tower Bridge each day.

Was a good day out. The beefeaters have a lot of knowledge and we learnt a lot of hidden history from them as the tour went on. Was good to walk around after and learn more. I would go again

Semplicemente fantastco. Abbiamo fatto tutta la visita in famiglia( senza tour organizzati) e pranzato all'interno della zona (davanti allo shop ) ci siamo trovati bene e costi nella norma: Simpatico cambio guardia simile a quello del backinham palace.La zona da visitare è ampia e spesso con scale ...comunque bellissimo e curatissimo.

We took a guided tour of the Tower of London in the early morning to see the official opening ceremony and to see the Crown Jewels before the crowds showed up. It was worth getting up early to do. We had an interesting guided tour and our guide told us some history behind the historical landmark, the Crown Jewels and the various artifacts displayed as we walked through it. There are several flights of stairs to climb to see all the rooms and museum pieces. If you are in average physical shape, it shouldn't be a problem to climb the stairs. The Crown Jewels are spectacular. They were much more than we expected. It's amazing that this landmark has stood for about 1,000 years. Actually, there was a Roman fort there before and there is a wall from that fort still standing. After about an hour of walking around the crowds were pouring in and the site started becoming really crowded. However, we were about finished and ready to walk over the the Tower Bridge part of the tour so it worked out nice for us. The Tower Bridge is not really a tour as you will just have a pass to explore it yourself. It's an interesting structure and an iconic landmark in London. Compared to other landmarks in London, it's rather young being built in the late 19th century. You can get some good views of the Thames River and London while exploring the bridge. Mostly, the Tower of London is the high point of the tour. If you go in the morning, it will be lunch time when you are done exploring and there are several places to eat in the area. If you visit London and you are interested in any way about the history of London, you must see and explore these landmarks.

We didn’t see a way to beat the Crown Jewels queue. However, our guide Anthony kept a place in line allowing us to get a snack, go to the restroom and explore on our own instead of waiting for an hour in line.
