Great experience- really fun with friends. For an hour, we paid £28 each for the zombie apocalypse game. That includes a 30 minute demo which is playing different games using the headset for a few minutes each. Actual game play is around 20-30 minutes depending on which level you get to- we got to 11.
It is worth £28 but I know it was previously advertised for almost £40 and I'd definitely say it's not worth that.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and welcoming.
Sophie the instructor was great.
The built guy at the till ( sorry didn't catch name) was also really helpful.
Would go again :)

Exceeded expectations
Arrived in plenty of time to have a drink at the bar, we found the drinks reasonably priced. We thought initially that it would be similar to laser quest but how wrong we were. This is 100% times better exceeded our expectations,so much so we took advantage of the deal to buy a second game at a discounted price.
I would definitely recommend to anyone.

The experience and service we received at navrtar was amazing! From any questions we had to making the online reservation, the team there were great and this enthusiasm carried on from the time we arrive until the time we left. Staff was very friendly and looked after us throughout our VR experience. Fia was very helpful in getting us familiar with the VR experience (despite her not being able to complete one the levels herself lol)

The experience itself is amazing. Maybe not worth £40 a head of you're late. But still really fun. Be on time as staff are horrible and leave no leeway or compromise (funny they even lied, I asked if I could move my session and said they were fully booked even if online it says it’s free, but ultimately yes malicious compliance is adhered here heavily). Your session is actually 55 mins not 1 hour. So do read the T&C. Even if you ask for a bit of extension even if it is empty they don’t accommodate. Regardless of the negativity great activity.

We're sorry to hear that you were unable to participate in the whole experience due to your group being late.
We have verified that your group arrived at 18:27 for your 18:00 session.
Our lateness policy is very clearly stated online and in your confirmation email.
"Unfortunately, we are unable to delay experiences. Your session is a live show, just like a show at a theatre or cinema. Arriving late for your slot will reduce your overall experience time. Guests who arrive 30 minutes late will not be admitted. No refunds will be given for missed sessions."
Our policy is in no way intended to be malicious, but instead, we are strict on time so that other customer experiences aren't impacted. All staff members are required to follow policy.
We are not able to move or refund sessions within 24 hours of your booking time - again this is clearly stated in your confirmation email.
We offer a VR experience that takes up to an hour - players spend the first half in the demo area, trying out three mini-games to introduce themselves to VR. Teams will then move into the free-roam space where they'll be kitted out, briefed and loaded into a multiplayer game which runs for a set amount of time. We unfortunately are unable to adjust the game time.
We hope that clears up any confusion you may have about what we offer.
We understand it can be frustrating when you're late to an experience and have to miss out. However, our staff have to follow policy and we do not appreciate name-calling or continuous harassment of staff.

VR was great but the rest put me off

I have heard so many amazing things about this place and so inevitably I was eager to try out. Although, after visiting I can say I probably will not return. The VR side of the game was great but the issues below I believe outweigh the pros.
Firstly, it is completely unacceptable to charge £40pp for an hour experience when game time is half hour tops for each individual person.
Secondly, it appeared as if they were extremely overstaffed. When we walked in we were greeted at reception by a lovely friendly young woman who took us through the majority of the experience. However, there was a male member of staff standing at the bar on his phone and two other males sitting on their laptops (all of whom I assume were staff as they had Navrtar tops on). The woman was professional, friendly and explained everything to us - we cannot fault her at all. However, to the three males who were on phones and laptops and avoided eye contact with us (maybe because they couldnt be bothered to deal with us) it gave off a very unprofessional and lazy workplace.
Also due to the current (Covid-19) situation I believe more things should have been put in place to make customers feel safe. Although there is clear markings on the floor when we arrived there was a lot of people in there, no one stuck to their individual side and so in fact we were having very close contact with other people this made me feel extremely uncomfortable. If one of the males stood and monitored this it could of been easily avoided.
Overall, I enjoyed the VR side of things and found it an incredible experience just unfortunately too short. I want to say thank you to the female member of staff for alone making our experience what it was but all in all very overpriced, not enough implementations for our current pandemic and please guys it doesn't look good to sit there with laptops and phones and ignore customers.

We are thrilled you had an incredible experience with us hosted by one of our team. However, we are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with how Navrtar is operationally run.
Please allow me to address some of your comments:
Pricing – our pricing starts from £28 and ranges up to £40 based on availability, so it would appear that you chose one of our busiest days.
COVID Preparation – In addition to the floor markings you mentioned, you might have missed that we have hand sanitizers throughout, gloves at reception for your experience, privatise each and every group so there is no mixing with others (completely free of charge) and thoroughly clean the equipment before and after every group.
Overstaffing – due to COVID, we aim to have an extra pair of hands to ensure everything is cleaned thoroughly especially during any busy periods as we take hygiene very seriously.
Managers - The staff on laptops were the managers overlooking the day ensuring the day runs smoothly, which by your comments, seems to have been successful.
Use of phones - Sometimes our members of staff use their phones as they take and send pictures of previous groups (at the customer’s request) throughout the day. So it was not a matter of being lazy or avoiding eye contact. Again, I don’t believe this had an impact on your experience.
Length of time – 60 minutes is allocated for customers to fully enjoy the experience and this is clearly stated on our website (home page).

Fun but overpriced experience, very rude staff

I went to have a nice night out with my three mates, the activity itself was fun albeit a little short for what we paid (£49pp).
We played one round for 15minutes which I was a bit annoyed about as we have paid less elsewhere in the past and played for at least 1hr. We also had pizza as part of this experience which was from Franco Manca and the pizza was extremely sub par- while I accept that the pizza isn’t wholly their fault, they choose to outsource their pizza to this establishment, so no matter what they are partially to blame. When the pizza arrived, the service was slow, they were not very organised as it took a good 15minutes for them to hand pizzas out. Originally they motioned us over to them and asked us what we had ordered to try and pick out the right pizzas to give to us but when we eventually told them what we had ordered, they dismissed us and said instead they would just give out the pizzas instead - very disorganised.
I tweeted about my annoyance and the manager saw this and graciously came to talk to us and get some feedback. I really did appreciate this, however the 4 employees standing behind the bar had DISGUSTING conduct. They had obviously seen the tweet and recognised my twitter picture, as they started pointing at me and whispering amongst themselves. They did this in clear view and even when my friend pointed out they were doing this, they did not stop. One of the employees in particular had been rude to us when serving us drinks, telling us to wait for her to pour the gin out and the tell her what tonic we would prefer. This is outrageous behaviour towards a customer. The same employee stood right by the bar and kept giving me dirty looks as the manager spoke with us. I’ve been to many of these experiences and I have never ever been treated in this manner. The lack of customer service and the level of shamelessness was shocking. I will never go back to this establishment. While I appreciate the manager actually caring and talking to me and my friends about our feedback, I cannot accept the other employees’ talking about myself and my party. It’s just indicates that there is very little regard for customer experience which is a shame as the zombie VR game itself was quite enjoyable.

We pride ourselves on the high level of service provided hence this is our first group to leave a negative review so we are disappointed that your experience did not match the rest of our customers.
As part of the corporate package, the game time in the main room was 15 minutes as we run a tournament for all teams, followed by an opportunity for a bonus game. This is only one part of the event, and doesn't include the unlimited access you have to the demo areas and private booths throughout the duration of the tournament. The format of the event was clearly made out to the organisation who resold you the tickets. Unfortunately, we don’t have any control on what is communicated to all attendees, we can only hope all information is passed on.
We partner with Franco Manca for the food with whom we deal with on a regular basis. We receive positive feedback and this is a corporate favourite. We will be sure to bring this to their attention to ensure they meet customers expectations. In regards to the serving of the pizzas, we always double check firstly, the whole order is ready to give out, and secondly, the correct pizzas are given out to customers encase of any special dietary requirements.
Having spoken to the members in staff present during the event and reviewed CCTV, their intentions were not to make anyone feel uncomfortable and we sincerely apologise if this is how it came across.
As a growing company we look to focus on our areas of improvement and we will look to address this miscommunication does not occur again.

Navrtar was amazing!! Love every moment. I booked here for my 25th birthday last minute after randomly coming across their website and they were able to accommodate me and my friends for the “Toonstrike” game. There was about 15 of us in total. They were super sweet! Alice and Sarj were so patient with us and served us all the alcohol we could buy which kept the mood going throughout the night (they deserve a raise!)
Virtual reality is something me and my friends wanted to try and was a nice difference to a normal birthday night out. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will absolutely be coming back regularly throughout the year. I posted a TikTok about our night, my account is @teshanebwe for those who are interested. Thank you again to Alice and Sarj for such an awesome night! See you again soon!h

We actually visited back in Jan this year but felt bad i havent left a review after it popped up on Facebook. 7 of us went and had the best time. Nice little bar as you walk in you can get a few beers to warm you up. Then the 3 demo areas you get a taste of the VR capabilities. You can stand and watch your friends while drinking which is nice.
Sadly.....actually hilariously a friend stumbled and fell off the 'Plank' experience as it was so immersive(this was his fault as he ignored their advice to step off and not JUMP off).
Then the main area we chose the zombie game and was separated into 2 groups choosing our names and team names. Needles to say some of the names were R rated. There was a nice seating area we sat in with full floor to ceiling glass you can watch and film your friends while having a beer.
Each person has their scores recorded so you know who has to get the next round in when you go to the pub after. Great fun and would recommend hugely. Phew,

A fantastic experience which I would recommend to friends and family
A fantastic introduction to VR gaming! The host was really friendly and chatty; he kept us engaged and it felt like a very personal experience. The mini games before the actual shootout were excellent as an introduction and I really enjoyed the fear one at the end.
The shooter experience was great and really immersive, the equipment was well maintained and the experience was seamless. We all really enjoyed it and it gave us a rush you can’t get from normal games. Would highly recommend!
My only suggestions for improvements are two small things. Firstly I think the shooter sessions would benefit from being a bit longer, 30 minutes instead of 20 would increase the chances of me wanting to replay and make it better value for money. Also I think the opportunity to have a recording of us shooting in the game and wandering around the room would be fantastic to watch back and would give us laughs after the main event!
Overall definitely worth trying it out!

Thanks Bhavik for your positive review! It's great to see you had a fantastic time with us. Of course we always push to make experiences better for our customers and all feedback is taken on board. Right now our games run for a set amount of time that is 23 minutes however we are looking to create longer experiences for those who want it in the future. As for the recordings, again we know this is something people would love to rewatch and laugh over so this is something we'd be bringing to the table for those who don't feel too embarrassed watching it haha! A great laugh and whole lot of fun

Myself and three friends did the VR Over-Run experience and we had a great time. The lady took us through some demos to familiar ourselves with the technology which lasted about half an hour as you swap out with your peers and take turns doing them.
Then the fun begins, strapping yourself into the gear, it's time to take on the zombies in a hectic panic fueled mission of blasting their pixels apart.
Honestly, as a big gamer - I had a lot of fun. The experience was great.
However, one gripe is the length in the experience. I had so much fun, I could have done with an extra 15 minutes I think.
The other thing to note is, It's cheaper on weeknights and I think £28 is a very fair price for what you get.
I'd like to see a membership or loyalty scheme as I live nearby and woukd definitely return numerous times to play again and again if I was incentivesed to have a loyalty discount.

Hi Harry, thanks for taking the time out to leave us a review, it is very much appreciated. We're delighted to see you had a great time and to know the demos got you warmed up for the main experience. It's pleasing to know you enjoyed the VR experience being an avid gamer. The experience runs for a set amount of time, so at the moment this would wouldn't be extendable. We do offer a 50% discount for an extra game on the same day if there is availability.
For the loyalty scheme, we now have one in place due to the quantity of returning customers. This will allow a free experience after 3 visits. We hope to see you guys back again soon, maybe to try out one of our other experiences! 👍🏽
