The tour was sort of amended since it was raining but it was still very good. The lady that gave the tour was a second generation Derry tour guide and her insights were very enlightening. It was a very memorable part of our whole Ireland tour.

Great experience with our guide. We learned an enormous amount about Derry - both recent history as well as that back into the 1600’s. We are from the US and didn’t know the deep history behind Derry. Wow. It cause us to find out more and go wander about “free Derry” to take a look at the monuments and murals. Thanks again to Gleann our guide. You opened our eyes.

We had met Gleann a few years ago when we went on his private murals and bogside tour, which was very informative and brilliant.
We booked his guided city walls tour with high expectations and this tour lived up to everyone of those.
Very interesting if you enjoy history and with Gleann there is always alot of fun as well. Westayed on the walls for the whole tour and the walking wasn't too tiring. There are inclines which may hamper those with some mobility issues.
However we managed and spent a wonderful hour and a half.
Highly recommend this tour

Gleann was a fantastic guide. So knowledgeable and friendly. He was so good with the kids and answered all their questions and had a bit of craic with them.
He also went at a pace to suit us as we had a pram and my father who is not long after an operation with us.
Really grateful and would definitely want to do another tour with him.

As we had accidentally booked the wrong tour Gleann was very flexible and changed to the one we wanted. He was very friendly and his tour was excellent!

Yes, 4:30 would be fine. You just need to contact the guide and schedule that time with him. From my experience, I see no reason at all that you couldn't have a dog with you. You don't go into any buildings. It was an awesome tour!!!

Start times are arranged at a time that suits you. As these walking tours are private then it is organised to suit your schedule.
I usually meet outside the Tower Museum at an arranged time.
We have a Bloody Sunday and Bogside murals walking tour and a Derry Walls walking tour.
