Had the most amazing time! We had only one day to cover Cliffs of Moher. From Cork the cliffs are almost half a country away, however traveling did not feel exhausting with well timed stops in beautiful locations and a very comfortable ride. One has the opportunity to take in beautiful views of castles, stop at interesting places for food, take beautiful pictures and even do some shopping along the way as you take the time the time to bond with your family as you embark to see the beautiful cliffs.
The cliffs ofcourse were beautiful and travelling with parents who are 60+ we had ample time to slowly scale the steps and even had time to enjoy a quick lunch at the cliffs. Travelling with Tony our tour guide was an absolute pleasure as he patiently accommodated for our polychronic tendencies regarding punctuality and crafted an experience suitable for the pace of our family.
The views are splendid, ideal when traveling with small children and the elderly.
The cliffs ofcourse were beautiful and travelling with parents who are 60+ we had ample time to slowly scale the steps and even had time to enjoy a quick lunch at the cliffs. We did a private tour from Cork to the Cliffs of Mohr up to Galway with Tony and our kids in their 20’s. It was a wonderful way to see the Irish countryside. He brought us to some great stops along the way. He is knowledgeable, personable and funny. Highly recommended!

We hired Munsterbus Tours for the Cliffs of Moher but also to bring us to/from Galway where we stayed overnight. We ended up not renting a car at all while in Ireland for 9 days. We had a great private tour of the Cliffs of Moher with our guide/driver Tony. He was funny, personable and accommodating; he graciously scooped up our son at UCC after picking us up promptly at our hotel. He brought us to the Cliffs via a private farm where the crowds were less but perfect access to the cliff walk. Breathtaking! From there, Tony drove us via scenic routes to the Burren, stopping for an amazing view of the Atlantic from these windy, rocky cliffs. Quite exhilarating. Tony shared with us his comprehensive knowledge of the areas we traveled through, getting us safely & comfortably to Galway then back to Cork the next afternoon. Highly recommend, both as tour guide & as driving service.

My wife and I had two days of private tours with Jim O’Shea. Jim was an experienced driver who was very proud of his Country, was knowledgeable, and was colorful. The first day we went to the Cliffs of Mohr. Instead of going to the visitor centor Jim had located a spot that was within 10 yards of the Cliffs best spot. We got out of the car and we were right on the cliff. It was perfect.
The next day we did the Ring of Kerry with Jim. Once again we saw some beautiful landscapes, ocean views and small towns. Another great tour.
My wife and I were very appreciative of Jim’s professionalism. He was always there to open the door for my wife and me. He had a great sense of humor and really made the tour lively. He took us to some spots we never would have seen on a larger tour. If we ever go back and need a driver we will request him
.

We had a great time with our guide Craig. He was very informative, funny and patient. He treated us like VIPs and went out of his way to show us about the local culture and the beautiful landscape of Ireland.
We can highly recommend to do this tour on a private basis with Munserbus Tours!

My wife and I did two private tours last week. The first was to the Cliffs of Moher along with Limerick and several other stops. As luck would have it, our driver for both tours, Tony, owns the company along with his wife, Linda.
You would be hard pressed to find a better way to see Ireland. The Cliffs are a major tourist attraction and the main parking area is mobbed with buses. This is where a private tour is great - we parked on a farmer’s land right next to the Cliffs that was much more convenient. Only a local would know this sort of thing.

We are back home in the sates now. Our experience with Craig and Munsterbus was amazing. It was myself and my son's favorite part of our three week trip.
Craig was a great fit for our family and somehow knew exactly the things and places that were perfect for us. Living in the Pacific Northwest and growing up in Montana and Wyoming we have seen some the the most beautiful mountain scenery in the states. The passes that Craig drove us through were breathtaking. I only wish that the photos we were able to take could do the scenes justice. Our friends and family will really not have a full perspective of how amazingly beautiful it was.
Blarney Castle was also a gem to see and explore. There are no words to even say how we felt about the cliff of Moher, from the water or above. It was the perfect way to travel, seeing things and doing what we wanted on our time frame was a great decision and worth every bit of the investment.
Craig was very patient and had some great insight for us. As I said his choices for the things to show us were above and beyond our expectations of beauty. His ability to get us the extra bits we enjoyed, the boat ride, tight on time, close parking on the cliffs to save valuable time and recommendations for meals. Not to mention he is just an all around great gentleman and very fun to travel with. He is top notch.
Thank you so much for your help in the extra room situation last minute. I appreciate that more than you know. My son being over six foot was done trying to sleep on twin beds.The hotels were very nice and comfortable. Having great breakfasts right in the facilities is so helpful and they were very good breakfasts.
Again Linda thank you so much to yourself, Munsterus and Craig. It was amazing. Something I hope to do again someday and would very highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit sights in Ireland.

We had a great experience on our private tour of the Cliffs of Moher. Our tour guide Craig was very knowledgeable, informative and enthusiastic about Ireland and the places he took us to see. We definitely would recommend this tour and do other tours with Munsterbus in Ireland. - James and Cheryl
