Graeme was a great guide imparting so much information and we certainly saw places that we would not have gone to on our own. We also learned a lot!

I had the opportunity to go on a walking tour with Graeme, and it was a very enriching experience. I booked at the last minute, and even though it was just me, Graeme didn’t hesitate to take me on. His passion for history is evident, and he has a knack for storytelling that really brings the subject matter to life.
What stood out for me was how Graeme gave insights not just into the history of the buildings we saw, but also into Adelaide’s past as a whole. He talked about what happened at these places and how they’ve evolved over time. It wasn’t just isolated facts; he wove them together in a way that gave me a fuller understanding of the city’s history.
If you’re interested in more than just a cursory glance at Adelaide and its buildings, Graeme’s tour is a good choice. It was a thoughtful, well-paced walk that left me with a deeper appreciation of the city.
What stood out for me was how Graeme gave insights not just into the history of the buildings we saw, but also into Adelaide’s past as a whole. Graeme has perfected his “art”. He was appropriately early, genial, accommodating and knowledgeable. The ideal guide.
It was clear that he was gauging our interests and tailoring his descriptions to suit. We had many laughs together and indeed his story of Queen Adelaide and King William IV sent me scrambling over supporting documents.
We found ourselves in nooks & crannies of Adelaide city that we would have bypassed; he explained the statues, the birth and use of the buildings.
In short he made the history live through the stories and his knowledge.

I had only a few hours in Adelaide and wanted to learn about the city. This 3 hour walking tour around Victoria Square was perfect. A small group toured several buildings and walked around outdoors learning a lot of history and the culture of Adelaide and South Australia. Graeme is an excellent tour guide. So glad I took this tour in late Jan 2023.

We weren’t expecting too much from this tour but boy we’re we wrong! Graeme was a fantastic guide, thoroughly researched and hugely informative. We’ll definitely be back to Adelaide and taking up more of his guided walk tours.

Our tour guide Graeme was interesting and informative. We learnt a great deal about the history of the beautiful old buildings and people in Adelaide’s early history. We also enjoyed the fascinating quirky details of the more colourful characters in history. We highly recommend this tour. It was a very enjoyable two hours.

Graeme was not only very knowledgeable, he was full of those query little informations about the places and people featured on the tour which you can't get anywhere else. The tour was complete and very interesting. Graeme was easy to talk to and adapted well to us being non English native. Overall a great experience

I was lucky enough to have a one to one tour with Graeme, who was an excellent guide. Can’t recommend him enough. Lots of very interesting facts and stories and went into buildings I wouldn’t have thought to wandered into on my own, such as the Supreme Court House and I would have missed the gorgeous Italian marble staircase.
$30 more than well spent.
