What a fantastic day in every respect- lovely informative cruise down the river by Captain Soren and then ice lunch and 2 wine tastings, brewery and chocolate factory. Fabulous value and must mention Keith who was the coach courier and brought us back to Perth going the extra mile to drop us at our hotel to save us catching the train. Wonderful ambassador for the company.

What a great day out. The cruise handily started from Elizabeth Quay, we were welcomed with wine and had a basic tutorial and tasting as we set off. Pootling down the Sawn River was informative and restful and we enjoyed the company of other cruisers, a real bonus. We stopped at three wineries (Mandoon, Windy Creek, Barbin) and also Whistler Chocolates.

I was treated to this cruise which was one of the highlights of my holiday in Perth. From the time we boarded we were well looked after by the crew. Hot drinks and mini muffins were served almost immediately, then wine tasting began at 10.15am (!). We were offered 4 or 5 different wines with a cheeseboard including salami and crackers as we cruised up the scenic Swan River. After a brief coach ride we had a substantial lunch at a winery with a drink of choice. Next stop was a 2nd round of wine tasting with cheeseboards at another winery, and a chance to purchase bottles to take home, followed by a visit to a chocolate factory. After reboarding our boat we were offered more hot drinks and a fabulous selection of cakes, plus a free bar and entertainment by our crew on our way back to the city centre.
I enjoyed myself thoroughly as I like wine and I'd never been on a Swan River cruise during 2 previous holidays in Perth. There were great views from our boat, from the city skyline to the quieter green areas upstream, and the Swan Valley itself is beautiful. Although it's not cheap, it does represent excellent value for money. In fact, I found there was too much to eat snd drink!

The boat cruise and wine tasting along the way was wonderful and relaxing. Lunch at Swanbourne was delicious and the coach portion of the tour was great! The wineries we toured, as well as the beer and chocolate factory were fun, informative and delicious! I highly recommend this tour!

We did this cruise a few years back and it was brilliant. The cruise itself with wine and food platter, the young ladies attending to us and singing on the way back. Wonderful.
The meal at the winery was really good.
So we did it again with my daughters. It was as good as before, except the meal at the winery, which now seems to be prepared for a price, and the price seems to be very little. Did not enjoy that at all on this second trip.

Excellent way to enjoy some Swan Valley wines. Started at the Port of Perth on a very comfortable river boat with lots of windows for a great view. We were pleasantly surprised that there were tastings on the boat as we cruised upriver. After about an hour, we docked and hopped on a small bus depending on your ticket. We visited four wineries and stopped at a brewery. We were treated very well and had a fabulous time!

On a hot summer's day, it was a delight to enjoy a scenic cruise from Elizabeth Quay up the Swan River to the Wild Swan at Mandoon estate - a trip of almost three hours, made very enjoyable by the company of fellow travellers, the sampling of three wines and the interesting commentary from the skipper.
We then had lunch followed by a tour of three wineries (some a lot better than others) a visit to a chocolate factory and a 25 min coach back to the Quay which arrived at almost the same time as fellow travellers who had taken the return boat trip.
A lovely day out.

Lunch on arrival was delicious (Mexican salad for us) washed down with a glass of bubbles for me and a beer for hubby. Michael our tour guide was just the right balance, chatty, informative and available. He took us to 2 vineyards, a chocolaterie and then for beers at a new brewery house. Chatted with others on the tour, all super friendly. Some got a bus to the vineyard unlike us we got the river cruise boat. Given the option I’d get the bus as the boat wasn’t really for us. Cheese n wine at 10 in the morning isn’t our thing, would’ve been better had it been the home bound trip

Boat trip was very informative and captain and crew very friendly lunch was amazing we only visited two other wineries which were average beer place was rushed and chocolate factory was fun overall was overpriced for what was offered

Hello, the short answer is I can’t recall. There are steps up from the pontoon and down into the boat which does not sound promising.
I suggest you contact them direct. It was a wonderful trip and they were extremely helpful and accommodating.

This is not wheelchair friendly. There is no wheelchair access onto the boat for the river cruise morning, and the afternoon bus could not accommodate a wheelchair, or a walking frame, or someone who couldn’t manage a big step up onto the bus.
