A fantastic day with some great people. We only had 3 days in Perth and we wanted to do the Swan Valley and chose this tour. Our driver/guide was Wes who was very knowledgeable and quite humorous. The wineries were very interesting and we got to taste many different wines during the day along with a chocolate feast. Lunch was superb although the portion sizes were enormous. I highly recommend the tour.

I totally recommend this tour starting from the ease of booking. Our driver picked us up from set location and explained to us each of the places we were going and what we would see and sample. We started at Lancaster winery with a cheese board to accompany our wines then onto Maya Maya for some more wines then a beautiful lunch with ample serving sizes. After lunch we visited Sandalford Wines in a beautiful setting then onto The Margaret River Chocolate Factory for sampling of delicious chocolate and liqueur. Our driver was very polite and helpful and was always ready to assist if required but not overbearing and loud which we all appreciated.

Amazing day, unique experiences, great wines, good food, super guide. Wes guided us to 4 unique locations with over 20 different wines, ciders and beer as well as plentiful food and sweets.

Very enjoyable visit to a couple of wineries. First with cheese was excellent but could have spent slightly less time there to have more time at the chocolate place.
I do not drink beer so could have given the brewery a miss but for beer drinkers they may have enjoyed it. More chips were needed
A van breakdown at the end that was speedily and efficiently dealt with.
All together very enjoyable day

It is amazing. Much better than I expected. We visited 3 nice wineries. I liked especially the second, where I bought 2 bottles of wine. We had lunch at this winery, which was delicious. Then, we also visited a brewery, a chocolate and a liquor place. We tasted their products everywhere. Our guide was very nice and gentle.

This is actually the second time I have used D’Vine and they were as good as the first time. I previously did the half day tour which was great, but having a spare full day in Perth in poor weather, we figured it’s always dry on a wine tour (apart from in the glass!), so we booked the full day. What fantastic value for money……3 wineries, 6 tastings at each, a shared cheese platter, a huge really tasty lunch, a chocolate tasting as well as chocolate liqueur, oh yes and a brewery visit and sample. All whilst being ferried around by the charming Wes. On top of that there was a mistake made by one of the wineries with a wine purchase I made, which I did not discover until arriving back home in Abu Dhabi, and D’Vine have been super responsive and helpful in resolving the issue, and replacing the item, even across the miles. Highly recommend the tour and the company.

Great wine tour in the Swan Valley. Thanks to @DutchiesTravel and @Roo_Lindsey for the booking. Just a short 30 minute drive out of Perth we visited 3 wineries with 5-6 tasting at each plus a chocolatier and brewery.
First winery was Nikola where we enjoyed cheese, crackers, olives and hummus with our wines. Followed by a short drive to Mandoon Estate. 6 wines followed by a great generously portioned lunch (included in the price). Did feel that the tasting here was just a little rushed. Both Nikola and Mandoon had good selection of wine related goods to purchase.
Last winery was Lancaster, more rustic but a great vibe.
Next stop The Margaret River Chocolate Co with free samples (and plenty to buy!) and then tasting of 4 Sambarino chocolate liqueurs. Final stop was Duckstein Brewery with a choice of wine, beer or soft drink and fries (hot chips).
Overall an approx 6 hour tour and certainly well fed and watered.
Big shout out to our guide / driver Wes who was excellent throughout.
Highly recommended

The wine tour is a perfect fit if you want to slam a quick wine experience into a day ... the wines presented by the vineyards were just ok, each stop was packed with people and the information for each wine was slammed into a tasting of 6-8 wines ... the lunch was tasty but the place again was crowded and with many groups of women on verge of getting the drunk to noise levels were at times deafening.
The choc. tasting was again crowded and learned nothing about the company nor the products... so crowded we were able to taste the choc. liquors ..... last stop was the beer tasting and something that was appropriate to the area but inconsistent for the experience and frankly just added to the confusion of the day trip....
The driver while friendly was reduced to managing loud groups, seat belt cop, and not really able to provide much insight to the wines etc.... it was like he was just ticking off the stops ....
I would suggest a two things ..
- spend a bit more and go with a smaller tour experience
-don't go on a weekend
-or bring your own large group of loud people to compete for loudest volume wine index as you slowly get drunk
-book the whole bus with only your friends
All was not lost as we did meet two couples and enjoyed the day talking to them ... but overall I would not recommend

Thank you for your feedback Brenda. The Swan Valley on a Saturday can be victim of it's own success and get a little busy! We pride ourselves on providing a boutique experience but sometimes on a Saturday the emphasis can end up more social.

They can adjust the drop off and pick up route but best contact them directly. We were back by about 5:00pm and they dropped us off at out hotel near the Bell Tower even though it was not an official stop.

I’ll be travelling to Perth just myself and 14yrd daughter. She’s mature enough to appreciate the beautiful scenery, yummy cheese, lunch and chocolate but obviously not drink. Is there an under 18 price?

Hi Tony, no, not at all. Maybe 3 steps at one winery (where lunch was provided) and another 3 or 4 at the beer brewery. The minibus pulled up right outside each place. In a couple of places the talks were delivered to the group standing up, but there was seating available (but out of ear shot). I strongly recommend contacting D'Vine by email with your concerns as they are a family run company and very responsive and customer-focused.

Not really a trip for children as there is a lot of wine tasting and not much for children to do. Where we had lunch it was pizza, salad and chips to share amongst the table so yes all children will be able to eat - enjoy 😉
