We had such a great time with Rania on our tour of the Karnak and Luxor Temples! She was so kind and knowledgeable about not just the history of the temples we visited but all of Egypt’s history. We went in the late afternoon and I would recommend that time frame as the afternoon light makes the temples glow. The Karnak Temples absolutely blew us away (and may have even topped the pyramids for best sight in Egypt). Rania even recommended a great place for dinner where we sat on the rooftop and watched the sunset. I would highly recommend this tour!

The Luxor and Karnak temples were an unbelievable experience. Rania was our private guide for the day and as she is an egyptologist she knew everything we needed to know and could answer all our questions. Her English is great and her local knowlege is exceptional. Our walking tour was aided by a quick transfer by minivan between the two sites as they are 3km apart. The itinerary was carefully created to avoid the crowds and interspersed with a trip to the governate Papyrus center, which was really interesting. On our request, Rania also selected a specialist essence and essential oils parlour and some local food at a really nice restaurant. Basically Rania is all you need in Luxor to make your visit personal, educational, cultural and fun. She is also a very nice person who is honest and reliable.

We toured the Temples of Karnak and Luxor with Walid (two adults and adult daughter). These are both overwhelming sites and Walid did a first-rate job taking us through, interpreting hieroglyphics, and explaining ancient Egyptian religion and society. I’m a professor and historian of antiquity (not Egypt) and I’ve taught introductory classes on Egyptian history. I knew some of the historical details but Walid took us much deeper and I learned a great deal. He was personable and flexible with our schedule. Highly recommended.

Vi betalte 431kr som var veldig god pris, ekskludert billetter og tips. Veldig hyggelig guide som kunne mye og som lærte oss mye om historien.
Man kan også velge tidspunkt for å bli hentet, så man trenger ikke stå opp så tidlig om man vil sove litt lengre.👍 anbefaler virkelig denne private turen, for par, enslig og familie.
We paid 43$ which is a good price for this tour. This price do not include the tickets and tips, but that is no problem. 👍 You can also choose pick up time, so you can sleep a little longer that day.😊 We recommend this tour to couples, singles and family. There is absolutely a more comfortable and instructive tour with a private guide, than the bigger groups.

We had a great time for 6 days with Walid. First of all, we are two girls that traveled Egypt. Safety is a priority with our travel. Walid is like family to us now. We already miss to have a dad in Egypt looking after for us and he makes sure that we feel safe and secure with everything from places we go to, food we eat, and even our long drives to anywhere in Egypt without him. He makes sure that we are in good hands with anyone we are with and not to worry with anything. We were honest with him too that we are budget travelers and he will accommodate you according to your needs and budget. He was flexible because my friend and I have long list of itineraries to visit and Walid make sure we accomplish what we want. He introduced me to good food and even cheap ones that are still great tasting. Highly recommended of his knowledge and passion on what he does. Having traveled much, I really recommend to have private guide and car for safety, convenience and education to enjoy the experience we did in Egypt. I would suggest if you are like me when you want own time and not be stuck with large group of travelers especially on touristic places is to get a local guide. Egypt is one of the places that needs to have a local coz some of the people are limited with their English too and they can take advantage of foreigners for business so its nice to have a local with you as well when u travel and less hassle. Thanks Walid for the amazing time. Till next Egypt visit! Love to come back next time.

Our tour to Karnak and Luxor temples was amazing. Our guide Rania is very knowledgable and her academic background helps a lot in explaining the history behind. We totally recommend this tour which is very well organised and rich in information. We chose to start at 7am to avoid rush hours.

A fantastic tour and amazing tour guide for the most iconic temples in Egypt. Luxor is a great city with lots going on and our tour guide knew absolutely everything there was to know about its history.
Walid was very friendly, accommodating and even took us on a tour of the city, showing us a very nice place to eat and to have tea. He was fantastic from start to finish and I would definitely recommend taking this tour!

Rania Raouf started the tour with very punctual arrival (arrived earlier than agreed), and always had a big smile on her face. Her knowledge about Luxor and the temples are incredible. Since the start of the tour, we have been given so much more information that any other guide has ever done. Besides the tour, she also offered many opportunities for us to take photo and to explore ourselves. Despite her superb service, she still politely declined the tip from us and asked to give it to the driver instead. We appreciate her help and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a guide in Luxor. You won’t be disappointed by all the knowledge you need to know about Luxor as long as you are with her.

Raina was an amazing guide! She had extensive knowledge on the Egyptian history and made sure to explain everything about the temples. I was traveling solo, so she even offered to take pictures and videos of me during the tour, and they came out amazing! She was so attentive and I highly recommend her for anyone seeking a genuinely amazing tour experience in Luxor!

Our tour was Karnak temple and Luxor temple and our guide was Rania. Our tour was booked for 1500 but when we arrived at our hotel they did not have a room and she was considerate and patient until we sorted out our room for the night. Very professional and extremely knowledgeable in the history of Egypt. She answered all our questions to the fullest. I also dropped my sun glasses and she asked the driver to take us to a local shop to repair it which was very kind.
