Beautiful park, fascinating, well kept animals. Staff very helpful and outgoing. They even came to find us with an umbrella when the rains started! Walking distance from our stay. Involved in conservation work.

Came to celebrate my daughters second birthday.
The park is small but is a great cause with focuses on rescue and rehabilitation.
The turtle feeding was good fun and my daughter enjoyed holding a snake and iguana,
Other than that we were finished in a little over an hour
Having a stroller meant we couldn't do the treetop walk due to stairs.
The zipline is closed 'until further notice' and it certainly doesn't look like it will be open again anytime soon.
The waterslide looked great, bur my children were too young and given I was travelling with family i wasnt going to spend the day up and down the waterslide by myself, but I would have liked just a single ride. This is not an option and the unlimited rides add-on is $45fjd
All in all we were glad we supported the park and the work they do, and they certainly need our support but the 'adventure' part is a little lacking

Bula from KULA - Hannah!!
Thank you for the review.
We are in operation for more than 26 years now.
There are a few things which we were unable to cope up with during COVID - 19. Impacts of COVID is still felt today.
However, we are still striving to meet the standards and quality when its comes to animal welfares.
Thank you for visiting the park and supporting towards the worthy course.
With Thanks and Regards

The good
1. Park was well laid out
2. Turtle (one) feeding was interesting
3. Kids enjoyed the water themed playground (included in standard park admission)
The not so good
1. Pricey. $50 per adult, $25 per child (2 or below are free) for what you get
2. Lots of parrots….. not much else. We literally just walked through the enclosures and spent 70% of our time in the water playground
3. Have to pay extra for the large slide. Zip line was not open.
4. Very long drive if you are staying in Denarau
All in all, unless you have a huge affinity towards parrots…. I’d probably skip this one…

Saw lots of parrtots and reptiles, and it was a nice 2 hours walking up a valley through really nice forest. The park has done it really tough through covid and there were not many people there when we visitited.
The canopy ride is not going and by the looks of it, wont be going again anytime soon as trees are now growing through the rails and would need weeks of maintence to get going again.
Our kids went on the waterslide $90 FJD for 2 kids to ride the slide) and they probablky went down the slide 5 times each before they were tired of walking up the slide stairs in the heat.
Very cool slide through the trees. We happily paid the money though because the park needs more visitors and money to continue to survive and if you think of it that way then it's money well spent.
The park rescues birds off illegal owners and poachers so it's important this place continues. They employ lots of locals. The big bird averies you can walk through and the birds fly around you.
We were staying at the Outrigger Resort and asked to be dropped off at the resort golf driving range and archery area otheriwise it would have been a 10 minute walk in the hot sun.
You can feed the turtle they have in the pool and hold a few snakes and lizards.

My son enjoyed the walk around, greeting the different species that lived there. 4 out of 5 for me as there were certain structures of the park that looked worn out and needed immediate repair (dangerous for the little kids). Apart from that, it was great.

Park grounds were lovely, staff helpful but disappointed to see only few animals and birds with minimal interactions. Quite expensive given this ($70FJD) Sea turtle feeding was a highlight though

What a great park to visit. Set in lush gardens, you can view a variety of birds and animals. You can also interact with snakes and iguanas, it's a wonderful experience being able to hold a snake.
You can also feed the turtles and learn about what the park does to help endangered species.
You can really go at your own pace, we spent a good few hours here taking it all in.
The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
It's an absolute must to put on your list for things to do in Fiji!!

Previously known as 'Kula Eco Park' but now named 'Kula WILD Adventure Park'
Located in a small rainforest-like valley with a creek running through it, 'Kula Eco Park' used to be a quaint little zoo that focussed on conservation and breeding endangered species for release.
The last time we were at the park pre-COVID they were in the process of installing a water play feature, a water slide and a zip-line ride through the trees. We were concerned what this would mean for the park - and it seems our worst fears have eventuated.
Now known as 'Kula WILD Adventure Park' it seems the conservation work has gone out the window. The few animals that are left are not well cared for with no enrichment features in their enclosures. There used to be a wider range of species but this has reduced greatly. Just how many red breasted musk parrots does one park need? The three hawk-billed turtles were clearly way past the release stage and only being kept as an attraction. Even the quite pleasant cafe near the park exit has been closed in favour of a fast food outlet near the water play area.
Apparently the zip-line ride blew down in a storm two years ago (so not long after being installed) and has not been fixed yet. The current owner (who co-owns the nearby Bedarra Beach Inn) is clearly only interested in extracting the maximum returns from the minimum outlay.
By all means, if you are trapped with young children at the nearby outrigger resort and are happy to pay a sizable amount for them to play in a sub-standard water park, go for it. However, if you care for animals at all please do not support this operation.

Wonderful visit, a 2nd time, to view some Finian wildlife and support local conservation of indigenous species of fijian iguana and sea tutrtles, and view some of the bird species close up. Great fun for the kids too with an awesome water slide, kids water playground and is only a small.park so can be a few hours or an all day activity.

Nice Rain forest, got to to hold snakes and iguanas, hand feed turtles, and look at birds. Water park a bit small and dated. Overhead sky ride out of action and the water slide a bit rough on back. They also use plastic straws (unlike the resorts) even know they discuss their issues with eco system... 2 Hours max. Other than the waterside (pay extra) nothing has changed in years.

Hello,
My father (62) would like to do the slide and zip line, my niece (4) would play in water slides and splash pool etc, and my mother (58) will just walk around and look after my niece.
I assume my father will need the $75 ticket but I should be able to buy my mother the cheaper admission only ticket and she will be able to go with my dad but not go on the rides is this correct??
It just seems silly to spend $200 to get all three of them the expensive access all areas ticket when only my father and niece will be using the fun stuff. But I want to check that my mother will be able to go into those places but she doesn’t want to do any of the activities.
Thanks!
Peter

As already mentioned by Gay W, you can buy the the zip slide ticket for your father and the water slide ticket for your niece, whilst for your mother a cheaper admission ticket will enable her to sit and watch your niece splash and slide and also accompany your father up to the start of the zip line. (be aware there are some steeps up to the start). There is no requirement to book on line, when we were there we just walked up. (Tip if you are staying at the Outrigger they will take you up to the entrance and pick you up to return.) Have a great time.

Hello there, do we need to book on line or can we simply drive up and pay at the gate?
