Wow! What a terrific experience! Our guide, Joel was a wealth of knowledge about all thing Mob related. His stories made us feel like we were right in the action! Driver Arkady was so accommodating too and also had mob tidbits to share. Both were really easy going and definitely enjoyed answering our questions and relating to my husband who is also a mob expert! They were willing to stop for water breaks so very accommodating.
It was an extremely enjoyable experience!

Had a great time on the private tour. Driver and tour guide were very friendly, informative, and engaging. Had time to hit quite a few spots and get a full range of the history of the mob in NYC.

I am ashamed it took me this long to write a review because of how truly incredible this experience was for my family and me. Before lockdown, I found Robin via multiple websites and booked a half-day tour by private car for myself, my mother, and gangster loving father. I prefaced the booking explaining that my father had a bad knee and I was a bit nervous about a walking tour. I was hoping he would still get the full experience viewing everything from a car and not just be stuck in New York city traffic all day. Robin customized the entire ride for us, and not only was she an absolute pleasure, she knew the streets so well she would ask the driver to pull up a couple of hundred feet when the sidewalk would be easier to get in and out of the car. It was a fun experience we still talk about and also happened to be the last time my parents will be in the city with me for quite some time. When we got hungry, and my father wanted to sit down for a meal (an unexpected request when we had a full picnic in the car), Robin, of course, knew the perfect place and was able to incorporate everything into part of the experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable and my father LOVED it.

My husband is really into anything Mafia related and watches so many documentaries I worried the tour wouldn't be great for him, couldn't have been more wrong. He learned even more (as did I) and got to see some great places to feel like it brought all the information to life.
Robin was a great tour guide and tailored it to our interests, Ben was also a great driver.
It was a little pricey but we are glad we did the private vehicle tour over a group walking tour (not least because it was pouring down)
we loved the Italian bakery she took us for for Canolli and we got to meet John the owner who had good stories of his own

Robin was very friendly and extremely informative. I found the tour quite interesting and learned some thing I didnt know, she also gave recommendations to books, movies, and other tours, the driver Akadia was also quite nice. Robin assured that all members of the tour were entertained. We will definitely book another tour with her! Also loved the driver!

Robin was so great. She knew a ton about the mafia and people and places. It was way worth the money. She was great and my whole family loved her. She keep it entertaining for all of us. We would defiantly do it again. She was funny and very friendly. She felt like family or a friend you have had for years. It was great LOVED IT!!!

We highly highly recommend this tour Robin was our guide she was excellent with lots of cool information. We spent 4 hours with her on a private tour in a sprinter. She took us to lots of places where the mob were told us lots of stories. We would definitely consider another tour with her when we return to NYC THANK YOU Robin

Robin's informative and fascinating tour was an excellent kickstart for our first time in NYC. It was like we had two tours in one as Robin showed us around her city, fascinating us with mob related stories as well as pointing out interesting landmarks that you would be hard pressed to find in any guide books or ordinary tour. The six hour tour took us all over the city and to other boroughs that we otherwise would not have had the opportunity to visit. We were shown so many things that we would never have discovered on our own thanks to Robin. When we come back, we would love to try one of her other tours as I am sure they are all equally amazing!

I took this tour in preparation for a book on the history of the Mafia that I plan to co-author with my writing partner, who joined me on the tour. I can honestly say that I didn't expect to cover so much ground or gather so much information. Robin's knowledge spans not only the history of the Five Families but also the Jewish Mob in New York, the Chicago Outfit, the Purple Gang of Detroit, and other ancillary organized crime groups. We were amazed to see the bullet hole still visible in the lobby of the Majestic apartment building from Vincent Gigante's attempted assassination of Frank Costello. From this location on 72nd street we made our way down to the Lower East Side and Little Italy, where we saw Lucky Luciano's childhood home and John Gotti's Ravenite Social Club, and we managed to hit every major Mob-related point of interest in between. I also got a box of the best cannoli I've ever tasted, though I'm not sure if this is a standard part of the tour! I saw parts of Manhattan I never knew existed, and learned fascinating secret histories of some streets and neighborhoods I've passed through hundreds of times before. Our driver, Arkady, was somehow able to park us directly in front of many important landmarks for photo opportunities and a few quick tours. Between his professional luxury vehicle service and Robin's vast knowledge, this is the best Mafia tour of New York that I could ever imagine taking. For me it's an easy 5/5!
