    Great, no-hassle, cost effective travel experience

    Traveled with the wife and 2 kids (8 and 5) to Philly to get away for a few days during Spring Break. Wife and kids had never been to Philly and it had been years since I had been there. The kids really wanted to go to Legoland and Philly was closest to us which is why we chose that destination. I decided to look at TripAdvisor to try to get some ideas of what family friendly things to do in town while there. The Go City Pass came up as an ad while I was browsing and I am so happy it did. Not only was Legoland included, but as I looked at the options there were obvious kid-friendly choices available. We decided on the Philadelphia Zoo and Adventure Aquarium, the USS New Jersey, and Legoland as our 4 stops on the 2 day all-inclusive. We saved over $100 versus general admission costs. We had planned to do the Hop On Hop Off Tour Bus as well, but we got a late start on day 2 and stayed too long at the aquarium and USS New Jersey. Had we started the day on time we would have made the bus which would have added another $100 in savings. Overall this was a great way to help plan a trip to an unfamiliar place and a great value to go along with it. Every location the pass was easy to use with no hassles. Definitely would recommend Go City to friends and family traveling to Philly for sightseeing and will use in the future when we return.

    I loved the Philadelphia All-Inclusive Pass

    I loved the Philadelphia Pass and having a choice between two packages. We picked the All-Inclusive and we're so glad we did! It was a convenient way to pre-plan our getaway and see where we needed to make reservations before leaving home.

    Including the Big Bus- Hop-on Hop-off Tours is a great idea because we got the map beforehand and started looking at the layout of the land.

    The savings examples on the website are on point. The money saved gave us extra meal budget for yummies at the Terminal Market!

    The Hop on and Off bus only allows for one day and can only be used once. This was never mentioned when buying almost $400 worth of passes. The ferry to NJ was closed and nobody shared that.

    Definitely worth it
    This pass is definitely worth it. We only had the one day pass so I can’t comment on those reporting not being able to use certain attractions more than once. This pass gives you access to the Philly phlash and the big bus. You must go the the independence visitor center info desk to be validated for the phlash. For the big bus your show your pass then they will give you a ticket. Everything else show your pass on your phone and you are admitted! We did more attractions than we would have done without the pass. The pass is good for the DAY not 24 hours. If doing the two day pass one day use the big bus and the other day use Philly phlash.

    The bus is not worthwhile!
    You might think that a hop-on/hop-off tour bus is a good way to see an unfamiliar city. That would be wrong based on experience here. The guide’s patter is ignorant, boring and insulting and teaches almost nohing. It’s embarrassing to think of foreign visitors hearing this nonsense. Progress is so slow (with people exercising the hop on/hop off privilege) you could walk the route almost as quickly. I bought a two day pass that will end up as another contribution to the tourist industry. Live and learn.

    The pass has some positive things: the Museum of the American revolution is interesting and it would have been useful for some other cultural attractions that were either free or too crowded to enter.

    We were so excited to go to a zoo and walked away so disappointed. There were so many exhibits closed, there was little - no human interaction- not even a human to sell you a ticket.

    The leopards were striding up and down the glass in a repetitive motion because they were so bored- it was so sad that these animals didn’t seem to be well cared for.

    I wouldn’t waste my money going there! My 8 year old described the experience as a ‘bummer’

    The Go-Pass for Philadpehia was great! We bought the 5 day all inclusive pass and not only saved a ton of money, but there was the added convenience of not having to book ahead of time and having to commit to a time. We had 3 couples all wanting to do different activities, and the Go-Pass made it so easy - we could each go to whatever location we liked (and you can use the pass for multiple days (except Hop-on-hop off bus) for most museums so if you don't see enough one day you can go back the next). We used the pass for the Hop-on-Hop off bus, the Eastern Penitentiary, Barnes, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin, African American Museum, Museum of the American Revolution and the Longwood Gardens! In addition, we had great customer service from Go-Pass - I had a question ahead of time about the hours for the Philadelphia Museum (the Museum was planning to start opening on Wednesdays right before we arrived). However, the museum changed their mind and the manager from the Go-Pass called me to make sure I knew the museum changed their dates so we would go on the wrong day (thanks to Leonardo!) Amazing!

    Rip Off! Don't Buy This Excursion!!!
    We paid $267 for the combination Hop On Hop Off with the "Go Philadelphia" pass. BUT, what they deceptively DON'T tell you is that Hop On Hop Off doesn't allow you to hop on or off anymore. So, if you, like us, thought you could use the bus to get to those museums and then use your Go Philadelphia pass for admission, you would be wrong, cheated, and disappointed. You can't get off the bus, and parking is impossible, so you are going to have to taxi or Uber your way to these location$, making this combination unusable. Not only do they deceptively not tell you about not being able to get off the bus until it is too late, but they have a no refund policy and do not respond to customer calls/messages. We have left three messages but received no replies. In a time when money is tight, taking a vacation is difficult, this shameless tour rip off is just so unfair. We are senior citizens traveling with our son. This has ruined our trip and potentially cost us a lot of money. Since they don't respond to our attempts to resolve this, like some Nigerian scam, we are forced to get resolution with our credit card company. We really hope you can avoid the problems we encountered.
