We went for a visit on the long weekend in the late afternoon. It wasn’t overly busy and we easily found a nice spot outside. There’s plenty of seating available either at the tables in the deck or on the grass. Some people had brought a picnic blanket.
We chose the tasting paddle and enjoyed four ciders of our own choosing. (You can also mix wine and cider if you like). I’m not hugely into cider but I liked the crushed apple and summer edition. You can purchase bottles to take home right there if that’s your thing.
They have a selection of pizzas - we had the margarita which was delicious. We also tried the apple calzone for dessert - it wasn’t scrumptious enough for me but the majority of the group was very happy with it. It’s served with a dollop of cream and is generous. For me it lacked cinnamon/ sweetness and I like my apples soft rather than crisp in a dessert but all personal preference.
Ample parking and very quick service. Kids can run around the grass bit but be aware it’s right by a busy road.

the horrible smell of toilets destroyed my day. They were very dirty and messy. the smell was in all surrounded. dirty toilets can produce very bad illnesses such as E. coli which is very dangerous to people with weak immunity systems and pregnant. Please take action asap. everyone over there were complaining of horrible smell .

On a cold wet foggy day in the Blue Mountains, we took a drive to Hillybilly Cider. Based on local advise we booked ahead for lunch.
It was very busy with all inside tables full or reserved.
The wood fired pizza's were absolutely delicious.
The range of ciders was excellent ranging from really dry to sweet, as well asnon alcoholic cider for the kids.
I can imagine on a weekend with good weather this place would be packed.
Well worth a visit, but book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Visited this place after a fruitpicking session at Bilpin. Cider experience was good. Ambience is very nice, but can be busy at times thus taking out relaxing factor. But a nice place to chill out. Kids had fun running all around the lawn.

Family and dog friendly. Our local favourite get-together and outdoor party place. Great hosts, fine pizzas, top wines and "canimals" (to takeaway), and the tasting paddle is wonderful (one between two is suggested to avoid disputes). Recommended to all our family, friends, and Katoomba cottage guests.

Chilled, busy place with a cool pizza oven!
The pizzas are freshly baked, service is friendly and cider is refreshing. What’s not to like!!

Cider was great in particular the pear cider
but the overpriced calzone was under cooked (doughy around the edges) very ordinary
Should stick to the ciders and forget the wood fired oven as the obviously don’t know how to get the best out of a wood fired oven

Enjoyed our time at hillbilly cider.
They had a large variety of cider to try. Great value for a tasting plate $19.
It’s is very well organised.
Loved the aesthetic of the venue.
They had a log fire to keep you warm on a colder day.

Great pizzas despite a rather small range. Good service, excellent ciders! Well worth a visit! Children are made to feel welcome as well as well-behaved dogs on leads!
