We had a great overnight stay at the Bar 10 before our river trip. We were able to skeet shoot, ride a horse and ride an atv. Meals were great. Scenery was nice and the staff song and dance show in the evening was very good.

Fantastischer Quad Trip

We all loved the Bar 10 ranch. So fun! We did it all- skeet shooting, ATV, horse back riding. Some of us slept under the stars and some sort me in the wagon. Food and staff excellent.

Love Bar 10!
jul. de 2017 • Familia
What a fun experience! Beautiful grounds, fun activities, and a great opportunity to spend family time unplugged.

The staff at Bar 10 are all extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They took very good care of us the entire four days of our stay. Most use this as a day trip/hub for rafting. We had just driven Rt. 66, and visited a few days at Zion National Park, we wanted some "downtime." We booked four days so we could experience the ranch and all it had to offer.

Grand Canyon activities we enjoyed were a private helicopter ride to the base of the Grand Canyon, (where we explored for over an hour and dipped our feet in the Colorado River,) in addition to a half day trip where we rode the SxS to see the inner gorge of the canyon in a small group of six.

Every day as we arrived back from a day trip, the staff prepared a great home-cooked meal for us. We also ate their delicious grass-fed beef raised from their cattle ranch, which you can buy and have it shipped.)

There was a heat wave while we were there and they had plenty of water/lemonade/Gatoraid available at all times, They even packed coolers with drinks and lunches for our day trips, and constantly reminded everyone to drink plenty of water.

Other fun ranch activities we enjoyed were daily horseback riding, skeet shooting, and hiking around the area to the top of a nearby mountain for a beautiful view! We saw plenty of deer on this trip too. Other hikes included a visit to see the petroglyphs and cliff dwellings of the Anazi Indians, and a small ATV ride/hike to see an old camp. Highlighting this was watching sunset by the canyon! The colors on the walls of the canyon were beautiful!

When we weren't on a day trip, we enjoyed the peaceful quietness of the ranch- playing pool, visiting the horses, relaxing under the trees, and enjoying a campfire w/smores and stories at night.

We chose to stay in a covered wagon, which was very cool! We enjoyed it as much as our two young children! Even though we were there during a heatwave, the nights cooled off and we slept great in the wagon.

We spent 4th of July at the ranch, and the staff put on a great talent show for everyone. Afterwards, they put on a fireworks show and had sparklers for the kids.

Bar-10 offer such fun, adventurous activities in a country setting along the Arizona Strip. We enjoyed every aspect of our trip, and will definitely be going back and recommend this ranch to others.

Stopover for Western River Expedition rafting trip
sept. de 2017 • Amigos
After rafting 6 days on the Colorado River, we rode in a helicopter up out of the canyon to Bar 10 Ranch. They provided us with hot showers, lunch (simple sandwiches, chips, store cookies, lemonade and water) and relaxing in the lodge. They checked us in for our charter flight back to Las Vegas.

I did a quick tour around the property and checked the conestoga wagons used for lodging - how 'romantic' for a western experience. It appears there were plenty of hiking trails, although it was over 100 degrees F, so too hot to spend a lot of time walking.

It has a family-friendly vibe and we found a great T-shirt and baseball cap in the gift shop.

Bar 10 is wonderful

A great desert experience! We rode horses, shot clays, ate fabulous grass-fed beef, and stayed in a Conestoga wagon. The helicopter ride down to the canyon floor was amazing, too. The staff was very friendly and put on a great talent show for our group. (My visit was before date posted.)

A must do Canyon tour
ago. de 2016 • Parejas
My partner and I went on this tour, to our delight only one other couple was on the tour. We where waiting on our plane and every other tour was over packed and crowded!! 4 of us and a pilot was a little scary to begin with, the pilot was a delight and so down to earth. We arrived and was greeted by 2 lovely gentleman, the most polite boys iv ever met. We took 4 wheelers down to the edge of the canyon, was an amazing ride we seen a rattle snake and the canyon had lots of rain the night before, so we did see a water fall a very rare sight. It was a national park so we really got to see the natural side of the canyon without the crowds!! After the amazing tour we had a home made lunch and a sit down with the lovely family who own the ranch and made our lunch. What a lovely family, we also did a tour of the ranch. This was such an amazing tour, unlike any other. I get to stay I rode a 4 wheeler on the grand canyon!! Thanks again guys

An oasis in the desert
jun. de 2017 • Familia
We helicoptered off the river in the Grand Canyon after 7 days of whitewater rafting to Bar 10 Ranch. They have showers, air conditioning, food and a trading post. It's also a destination on its own for vacationers, with many activities. The staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming. A great way station back to the modern world.

Bar 10 Ranch

The end of Western River Expeditions 7 day rafting trip. Gusts are helicopters to the ranch from the river...about a six minut flight. They have hot showers, a small storm and serve lunch. If guests stay here, hey have the option of staying in the lodge or in a Conestoga wagon. The ranch has many activities so you cannot or won't be board. They also have lunch fro the WRE guests before hey are flown out o Vegas or Boulder City etc.
