Vinton was amazing from start to finish! I contacted him after reading reviews about tours from our resort Ocean Eden Bay and there were many people recommending Jamaica Action Routes. I sent an email and pretty much the next morning I had a response with an itinerary and recommendations that suited what we wanted and did not try to push extra things on us like other companies did and it was all a very honest price. We knew straight away he was who we wanted to use for 2 full days.
Booking was simple, a 40% downpayment via paypal and then the rest in cash on each day. $300 USD for a full day private driver and car was super honest. We preferred that than having to stick with a group tour or doing several half days over several days with the resort. We knew exactly what we needed in entrance fees etc so easy to take the right amount with us.
We did 9mile, Dunn's River Falls in one day, and a 4hr round trip to Negril and Rick's Cafe another. He even found us a resort with $10 sunbed hire on the beach.
He was ontime, responsive on whatsapp and email. He was so informative on our drives, and we learnt alot about the culture and local food in Jamaica which is what we always like to do.
Would highly recommend him and we would absolutely use his services not if but when we return to Jamaica. He services the whole island and airport shuttles, so you can easily go anywhere you wish pretty much.

We used Jamaican Action Routes for two trips during our very recent stay in Montego Bay and wouldnt hesitate to use their services again the future. We had the excellent Vinton as our driver/tour guide and he made the long journeys to Rick's Cafe and Floyd's Pelican Bar (4 hour round journeys) a joy with his expert knowledge of not only Jamaica but the many health benefits of various fruits, plants and trees. Vinton was polite, funny, engaging and informative and we couldnt of asked for better. He picked us up promptly from our hotel and accomodated our needs in terms of how long we wanted to stay at the locations. For our trip to Floyd's Pelican bar he also sorted the boat journey for us ans accompanied us there and back, taking photos and videos of the experience to share with us. I would highly recommend Jamaican Action Routes for all your transportation needs while in Jamaica, their prices are very competitive and Vinton is an amazing host.

I had an amazing experience with JR transports for my airport to resort transfer in February 2025 during my trip to Jamaica. From the moment we landed, the team was incredibly professional and friendly. We were delayed but Vinton contacted me and ensured us the driver was waiting outside for us. As soon as we exited we met Vinton and introduced us to our driver. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The ride was smooth, and the driver was knowledgeable, sharing interesting details about the area on the way to the resort and even stopped at a local bar for us at our request. The entire process was seamless, and I felt completely at ease throughout the journey. Upon returning we texted with Vinton and he picked us up with no issues and brought us back to the airport again without any issues. I highly recommend JR for anyone looking for reliable and hassle-free transportation in Jamaica. It made the start of our vacation stress-free and enjoyable!

Vinton was amazing at organizing transportation to various locations in the Negril area and his driver, James, was on time for airport pickup and drop off. Van was clean with welcomed air conditioning. Highly recommend!!

We used JARoutes for our round trip airport to hotel transfer and for all of our excursions during our stay. We kept reading great reviews of JARoutes on different Facebook groups and decided to give Vinton a try. We were so glad we did. Hurricane Beryl had just hit the island and everything about our trip was up in the air. Through everything, he was on-time, responsive to any and all communications, flexible when sites were closed/gave tons of back-up options, and family-friendly. We felt very safe with Vinton. And, bonus, JARoutes was less expensive than the services offered at our hotel. We would use Vinton again and again for future vacations.

I want to express immense gratitude for the outstanding service provided by Jamaican Action Routes! From the seamless private airport transfers to the enriching private tours and excursions, every detail was handled with utmost professionalism. All our drivers were punctual and incredibly accommodating to our group of 32 passengers. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and gained valuable insights into the island's history. Vinton A Ashman and his team are amazing. If you’re looking for safe private transportation Vinton is your guy. We used this company for 3 separate day excursions…had the same driver/guide for all 3 days which was awesome. He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and patient. Very reasonably priced, reliable, great communication, accommodating, professional, overall great service. Our Jamaica vacation was absolutely awesome!!! I highly recommend!!!

We used Jamaican Action Routes for our airport transfer from MBJ to our hotel at Riu Negril. This service was prompt and the communication was great. Our driver, James, was friendly and provided us with a little history of the towns we were passing through during our transfer. He also told us about the Grand Market Night that we experienced on our way to the hotel upon arrival. On departure day, he arrived at the hotel on time (a little early actually) which we definitely appreciated. The price was reasonable, they were easy to find at the airport, and we would definitely recommend this service.

We had a fantastic experience with JARoutes for airport transfers from Montego Bay airport to Negril and for local rides around town. The drivers were professional but also super friendly, making the whole experience even better. They were quick to respond to my messages and really accommodating to all my needs. The prices were fair and we received great service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable and safe transportation! Spencer was awesome and James was really funny and great too! JAR and Vinton made our trip even more enjoyable with his knowledge of the beautiful island we come to only spend a short time in. Every detail to attention was made during our excursions and transportation, along with personalizing to our needs. This company will go above and beyond to help make your stay amazing! If you will be doing the Montego Bay highlights then the cost would be $120 for 1-4 persons. Each additional person would pay $20. This tour includes visits to heritage and historical sites. Tour of downtown Montego Bay, Lunch at Scotches and stops at local beach and Margeritaville or Doctor's cave beach. Length of tour 4-6 hours. Please let us know if you will need anything further 🇯🇲
