Hello No there is none right at the info centre. They have designated RV parking but it is not a campground. There are campgrounds around Jasper and area.

That sounds great. Google says it’s a 4 hour drive but it will take longer because you will continually stop in awe! Perhaps take in the hot springs at Radium, right on 93. Coming along 93 toward the AB BC border ups Marble Canyon, very nice. Also there are paint pots that you can hike into. As you go up to Jasper from Banff, be sure to stop at Athabasca Falls. There’s tons to see and do in both townsites/parks but you can get lots of info on that from the parks or anyplace. There is a daily park fee. In Banff, be sure to take the Lake Minnewanka loop drive because that’s where the big horn sheep hang out. And ALWAYS be watching for wildlife. My son just got back from a camping weekend in Banff.. had a wonderful time. Kayaked and hiked. You will love it! 😄

Forgot to mention: speed limits are lowered in the national parks, at times down to 70 kph where there is usually wildlife but normally 90 kph.

On the glacier you need to be equipped with warm clothes. In month of May when we visited we encountered very sunny weather but with light cool and breezy temperature. However the climate tends to be very fluctuating so better be prepared in layers

Hi! We're just travellers, and not with the company. Their web site is a bit confusing, so it might be best to call them: 1 866 606 6700. We've had an awful lot of snow of late, so while the Banff / Jasper Highway would be open (it is open year round) it could easily be in winter driving conditions. The most snowfall in our part of the Rockies is in March, but does taper off a lot in April. In the ski resorts, there's plenty of snow for skiing high up until 3/4 through May, and as hikers, our mountain passes and summits often have a lot snow on them until the end of June. But with some weather luck, Brewster, which operates all the attractions you're interested in, could be up and running by then. Have fun and enjoy the beautiful Rockies!

Hi, it's difficult to say since I don't live in Canada. However, here're my points. 1. If you stop at places on the way and end up at Columbia Ice Field, it might be better. Lake Louise needs to be viewed during the day, to see reflection from the sun into the emerald color water and the reflection at the glacier beyond. 2. Banff has couple of attractions you don't want to miss: in town (maybe 45 min would be enough) and take gondola to the top. This top will easily take you 2 hours. To view is stunning and there's a wooden walkway you don't want to miss. This walk is very easy walk and takes about 20 minutes. However, you want to stop and enjoy the scenery, trust me! 3. The Columbia Ice Field takes about 1.5 - 2 hours. Bring empty bottle with you to collect glacier water to drink. You only live once, drink it. It's clean and cold! As you could see, leaving at 6:00 am is a little pushing it. Yes, I think you can achieve that goal, but how about the experience that you want to collect? Can you squeeze all of that into a tight schedule? Don't see the Columbia ice field at dusk, there's nothing to see. There's also a skywalk you might want to visit. Not so big, but it's very beautiful: the architecture, the scenery, the information to read. Hope that helps! Enjoy your trip.
