So many Provincial Parks have a no dogs on the beach rule and while dogs are not allowed on the gorgeous sandy beach in the lagoon, there are several places where they ARE allowed to run OFF LEASH along the river. My dogs absolutely loved it! The highlight for me is Sutherland Falls, listed as one of the top 100 waterfalls in BC. It is also close to Begbie Falls, which is a lovely hike, and not far from Revelstoke Mountain if you want to ride the Pipe Coaster in summer. And adding to it all, the staff working there were truly lovely, friendly, kind and helpful.

Of all the beautiful BC Parks campgrounds we stayed at, this was the favorite. Gorgeous cedar forest. Lots of space between sites. Site 77 has a view of the beautiful misty lake and gets the cool breezes. Magical to look at over quiet morning coffee.
Sutherland Falls was surprisingly powerful. An incredible hidden gem, make sure to walk the 5 minutes to see it.
The lagoon is surrounded by soft grass or sand, and water is refreshingly cold. All sides of the circle are shallow and accessible, so it's easy to pick your favorite sun or shade.
Lots of mosquitoes, so a screened picnic table tent was useful.
There was a problem with the septic system, so showers were unavailable for a day, but once back on, they proved very clean. 2 private showers each side of the main facility seemed enough for the camp.
Know that the campground maps aren't to scale, in terms of the Nature Trail being longer than it looks on the map (2km), but the cool cedar forest the trail runs through is magical. There was a bear sighted at the sani-station and by the nature trail, but proper precautions were in place and we didn't see the bear.
Over all a place I would love to return to.

Loved the drive up to the park. Has a nice beach area and some amazing trails to see some waterfalls. Close to the town of Revelstoke.

Beautiful spot. The campground is clean, paved roads, clean toilets and clean showers with hot water. The showers were free and open 24 hours. The staff were helpful and friendly. The staff are there til 11pm. There are short trails to follow the shoreline, and a nature trail.
The falls are like 5 mins to walk to and very very pretty. I highly recommend this campground for everyone.
No fires were allowed due to the fireban, but some people brought propane fire pits.

This provincial park is one of our favorites. From the hiking to the biking, to the lagoon to dip in on a hot summer day, this provincial park has it all.
Its such a great place to spend a week and get away and relax.

Great campground especially for families! All the park staff are super friendly and very helpful. The lagoon was especially fun for the teenagers. The water was extremely high on the lake so unfortunately we didn’t get to walk the lakeshore. The waterfalls were amazing and such an easy walk!

The best thing about this waterfall is how accessible it is for everyone. No matter your age or ability you can get to it pretty easily.
Such a beautiful spot to explore. Can also get on the side of it on the hill (use common sense).
The viewing platform is small in area if it is busy might get crammed but lot's of space to go around to view.

I would put this campground amongst the best in BC. Good campsites, clean washrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Waterfall and small pond within the park. Big list of things to do in the Revelstoke area.
Highly recommend.

Stayed here for a few nights and what a nice camp ground. Could use more than 2 showers, but no biggie. Nice swimming area, waterfall, nice sites. No wonder the locals love coming out here.
