Stopped in to try out this little gallery and cafe for lunch the other day. Tried the soup and sandwich lunch. The food was very good and came piping hot.
In was kind of funny to listen to the four or so ladies working in the kitchen. They were catching up on life while working shoulder to shoulder.
There is a nice view of the river when you looked past the parking lot. On the walls there is lots of artwork by the young and the old. They seem to support local talent and enjoy showing off their work.

We had been looking for local handcrafts during a weeklong trip in Quebec, and found this lovely shop on our way back to the states. We were greeted by the proprietor, who provided us with a wealth of information regarding how this cooperative shop was set up and the artisans whose work is showcased. Lots of beautiful pottery, jewelry, wood products, sculpture, painting and photography. We found a handcrafted tamarack and birch cutting board for a gift at an upcoming wedding.
The café looked comfortable and inviting, although we did not partake.
We will definitely be back!

Paul (the self described PR Guy for the Gallery) warmly welcomed us and we had a great conversation about mutual interests in libraries, architecture and culture. We enjoyed looking over the vast array of artwork in the gallery. There is something there for all tastes. That evening our tastes were for dinner. The Cafe was the place for that. We enjoyed the pasta special that evening. Our table overlooked the river and all food was fresh and well prepared. We had room for amazing Strawberry Shortcake with local strawberries. There is a shelf of books to read and games to play if you wish to spend some time there. Free Wifi as well. It was a very enjoyable visit.

This cafe is a mother/daughter run establishment. It is a locally owned small business that deserves support. The food we had was freshly prepared, very tasty and served in a quiet, clean small dining room overlooking the St. John river. Located in a small craft/art gallery, there are interesting pieces to consider while waiting for your meal. Our experience was very enjoyable, we would go back if ever in the area again.

THis is a locally owned and operated co-op like facility.

This is a small, yet excellent place to find the work of local artisans. A wide variety of arts are displayed here: jewellery making, painting, metal working, etc. There are some truly unique pieces for sale here. The items are beautifully crafted and displayed well. There is a small cafe in the back that offers soup and sandwiches for a light lunch. If you are in the area and seeking local items this would be a "must do" stop.

I very much enjoyed my lunch visit to the Creek Village Cafe. They offer a variety of homemade soups and sandwiches with fresh made organic bread. The lunch special is always a delicious fun surprise. The artwork by local artists that cover the walls is a wonderful conversation piece. The place is a definite win for a healthy lunch, conversation and finish it off with a great homemade dessert.
