Caroline is an incredibly knowledgable guide who wears her expertise lightly and with humour. I’m a fan of walking tours and imo Caroline is the best guide I’ve had!

My wife and I engaged Caroline for our first two days after arriving. Our goal was to have a professional tour guide orient us to the city and guide us through the main sites. We were extremely impressed with her knowledge and planning for our days together. We had a list of sites we wanted to see with her and she included as much as possible while minimizing travel time. We took the tube and buses as needed which got us oriented to using public transport - we used the tube almost exclusively after that (it is SOOO easy!). It was also pretty cold on the first day so we popped into coffee shops to warm up as the day required. Each day we covered 10 miles walking so be sure you have your comfy shoes on! She also helped us fine tune our plans for the remainder of our week in England.
Caroline provided incredible insights into London and UK history which we never would have known without hiring a guide. I was well worth the cost and we highly recommend Caroline!

Thank you for such a lovely review. It's unusual to deal with snow in central London and you were both absolute troopers! I'm glad I was able to show you so much.

This lady is simply a “guiding angel” - a real gem of a guide. We have recently been with her on tours of Hampton Court and the National Portrait Gallery. She is super-knowledgeable, interesting, witty, full of background knowledge and fascinating apocryphal stories to illuminate the tours. Unlike many guides she is also very clear and easy to hear and understand. Simply excellent.

Caroline Piper was fantastic. I hired Caroline for a two-day tour of London. I gave Caroline the sites we were interested in seeing and she put together a tour that was efficient and made the best use of our time. My family includes my adult son, who is disabled and uses a motorized wheelchair. Caroline was very sensitive to his needs in making the tour accessible for him. Members of my entire family are history buffs and very much interested in English history. Caroline's extensive knowledge of history in general and of the specific sites we visited made touring with her a great experience. Caroline is very personable, and we enjoyed the time we spent with her. I would highly recommend hiring Caroline as your tour guide. You will be glad that you did.

My family engaged Caroline for 1.5 days tour guide in London, we enjoyed every minute of it: she is full of knowledge and energy, educational plus fun, when she is definitely highly recommended and if we ever come back to London will definitely engage Caroline first thing first 👍

This is the third (3rd) time she cancelled on us with NO NOTICE (30 minutes before) at all. Not reliable - no matter how good she is, that is not professional at all to leave people stranded without notice. Doesn't even help to find a new guide to replace her!

We met Caroline for an Architectural tour at the Barbican Estate and ended in the midst of the Shard and the Gherkin. Her tour was highly informative, well planned out and totally enjoyable ….. a ‘must do’ in London!

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk around Bloomsbury. Caroline is a very knowledgeable, interesting, entertaining and professional guide. We learned so much which we could never have done on our own. Highly recommend.

Caroline was fun, informative, friendly and interesting - as always! This time was a tour around Legal London (to add to my knowledge of it as a solicitor), next time, Clever Bloomsbury.

Caroline led an excellent tour of the Abbey. Caroline has an extraordinary knowledge which she shares in a very accessible way.
Visiting the Abbey in winter does require warm clothing! Also there is little opportunity to sit down so if standing for long periods is an issue a walking stick or aid would be useful.
