Just trying to book an event the staff member was very rude and unhelpful. No customer service. And would not recommend!

Fabulous trip on the river. This was a Christmas trip with the over 60’s. Everyone had a wonderful time. Food was amazing, hot and freshly made. Worth a visit no matter what age you are. The water levels were high so boat trip was shortened for safety, didn’t stop the enjoyment.

Had the best afternoon on the Santa cruise! My little boy absolutely loved it, he was mesmerized by Santa and was over the moon with his toy of a workbench. It was a great gift and they also had a meal of chicken nuggets and chips as well as teas/ coffee mince pie for grown ups. Lovely afternoon with a great atmosphere I would highly recommend.

We went on a coach trip on Thursday with the river trip and lunch included. The boat was tired looking but staff were friendly and cheerful. We had been asked a few days before to order our main course from either chicken, loin of pork or a veggie option. We chose the pork.
The pork was more fat than meat and I was tempted to take a photo of what we cut off but felt that wasn’t very nice in front of a full table of people. We got some tinned peas, a few sliced carrots and some cabbage (which was nice), an obviously frozen yorkshire pud and a few potatoes in mint and a few roast ones which were coated in a peculiar coating and were rock hard and gravy. I have honestly never had so much fat on two slices of pork. It was just dreadful. The chocolate cherry gateau was nice. the coffee was so strong I couldn’t drink it. We did have a drink from the bar.
The boat trip did not go far and there wasn’t much to see. Most exciting were some penthouses on the riverbank.
On the coach home the driver did ask if we enjoyed our meal and I said it was poor and he agreed. He said he would report back to his company.

Our River Cruise with Princess could so easily have been better with a little more effort. The crew were pleasant and friendly and the concept is great however, we were very disappointed at our seating position, being right at the front of the boat with no windows by our table it was very difficult too see the river, the whole reason for the day out! 2 of our party , due to the seating arrangements had their backs to the river and the rest of the boat. We would have liked to have taken some photos of the sites along the river but our table positioning prevented a decent enough view. The meal was disappointing especially the tasteless and soggy vegetables which were clearly tinned, not fresh. The boat needed a good clean with cobwebs and mould in the windows , mould on the plastic flowers on our table and the floor was sticky underfoot. We would gladly have paid a little more for our day out for better food and a cleaner environment. Such a shame as this could have been such a lovely experience.

Came on a hen do was only 1 other group on board .so lacked any atmosphere.the boat is run down and very tired . The bbq wasn’t great cremated pork . Poor quality sausage and some chicken . Wasn’t any cobs was just sliced stale bread. The dj said he wanted requests, but didn’t play any just played what he wanted , felt like he was having his own little party . There’s plenty of nicer places around Nottingham to spend the £30 price tag .

Sorry for your disappointment, there were a over 30 guests onboard the boat on your cruise. Unfortunately we can`t comment on the atmosphere as this is up to the guests to create. We have however reviewed the pictures from your night and everybody is smiling and is having a great time. We also can`t comment on the BBQ as there was no record of any complaint on the night and your comments are certainly the exception rather than the norm. The DJ does try and play requests fairly between each group onboard and we are sorry that there was not enough time to play your song request before the end of the night. There may be what you deem nicer places to spend £30 in Nottingham but nowhere as unique a venue and package that we are able to offer.

We went for our friend’s 70th birthday and there were 25 of us to celebrate. When we first got on the boat everyone was in good spirits and then the host came on and was telling us about the boat and he will take requests for the music. The food was nothing special and I could only eat the salad because the meat was so dry and over cooked. The DJ didn’t play any of our requests because he was catering for the younger people on there, when I challenged him, he got quite rude with me and basically told me to go away.
If you are a younger age and you don’t care about the food then this is the place to be.

We find it strange that the lead booker of your party (KW) was on the phone the day after your cruise praising everything about the package we offer.
The subsequent follow up email from the party organiser was just as complimentary, praising the venue, food and staff.
Sorry that this particular package was not to your liking.

We treated our friend on her 70th birthday. It was a surprise so we couldn't even tell her what was on the menu. There is a choice of 3 mains, so we ordered one of each. Unfortunately we were delayed on our journey, what should take 2 hours took 3, and the boat nearly left without us. Thank goodness it didn't.
We were soon underway, had a drink from the bar, and settled down to enjoy the day. The meal was served early on, and considering the limited space on the boat, it was superb. Very efficiently served, with dishes of vegetables, generous portions. Guess the team do this every day, so they know what they're doing.
On the table was a framed image of the boat for our friend, which was really thoughtful and much appreciated. Towards the end of the cruise the captain announced her birthday and we all applauded.
The cruise was just lovely, very leisurely. It was a rather hot day, but there was a through breeze and the stern of the boat doors were open - thank goodness!
I spent my childhood in Nottingham, and re-lived lots of memories along the way. Trent Bridge, Nottingham Forest and Victoria Embankment.
The whole cruise was lovely, we keep telling everyone how much we enjoyed it.
Well done to you all.

We embarked on a Princess River Cruise in Nottingham as part of a get together with an organisation of which I am involved.
It was all very well organised and we were lucky to have absolutely lovely weather for the 3 hour cruise.
We departed from Princess Park in Colwick and headed down as far as Trent Bridge. We could not follow the usual route underneath the bridge due to their being a recently sunken boat blocking the way. As it was we turned back on ourselves and, cruising at a leisurely rate, went back past Princess Park and towards Stoke Bardolph.
We repeated this route several times whilst we all sat down on the boats upper deck to a very enjoyable two course meal.
The boat itself is called The Nottingham Princess and weighs in at an impressive 60 tonnes. It has a leisurely cruising speed of 8 knots downstream and 6 knots upstream, with a maximum speed - should it be required - of 11 knots.
It was very pleasant cruising up and down thr Trent, and the Captain of the Nottingham Princess would occasionally come on thr public adress system to impart some interesting information about a particular place or thing we were sailing past.
The two decks were both set out as dining rooms with our party on the top deck and a larger party in the bigger dining space on the lower deck. There was a fully stocked bar on both decks and, as I say, they can rustle up a decent two course meal!
We were on what I suppose would be classed as their "corporate event," however there are a few other options one can choose, including: Evening Sailings, Daytime Sailings and Floodlit Sailings. I don't believe you need to be part of any larger event though - and can just book on as you see fit.
It was a very enjoyable day.
