What a terrible experience. They were an hour late to collect us from the airport in Budapest, I had to call several times. I’d also arranged to be collected on our last day to go to the airport. I called and she said she would call me back, we were stood in the freezing cold for an hour, they didn’t answer the phone again, we had to get a taxi and only just caught our flight. We had to pay for the taxi as well. I have not received a refund and says claim closed. Disgusting.

My experience with this company was extremely disappointing and demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and customer care.
To start, the representative was not waiting in the arrival hall, as promised. I had to wait for them, despite following all instructions to notify them when I passed immigration and collected my luggage. When the representative finally found me, they told me to wait again and ran off to assist another passenger without offering any explanation or apology for the delay.
After some time, they returned and instructed me to run after them to the upper parking area because the driver was supposedly waiting there. However, upon arrival, the driver was not present—he was still on his way! This chaotic and disorganized process made the situation extremely stressful, especially after a long flight.
When I reached out to customer service for an explanation or apology, I was met with no acknowledgment of their mistakes. Instead, their response attempted to deflect responsibility and justify their actions rather than addressing the valid points raised in my complaint. This lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve the issue is highly unprofessional and deeply frustrating.
I paid for a service that I did not receive. The company's approach shows a complete disregard for the customer experience, and I cannot recommend their services to anyone.

Booked return from Palma airport to Porto Colom in Majorca. Taxi was waiting at the airport all good so far. Return not so good. I received an email advising we would be picked up at 1805 hrs however taxi didn’t show up. Tried calling the number on the email, no answer. Had to get a taxi myself. At 21.03 that night taxi calls and says he can’t find me at the hotel I told him he was 3 hours late and I’d made my own way to the airport. Complained to Hoppa and asked for half my money back. Their response was it was my fault as their investigation showed I was a no show. The evidence they supplied was a picture of the taxi drivers phone showing he’d called me at 21.03 when he couldn’t find me. I responded that I was a no show as I was supposed to be picked up at 18.05 as per their email which I copied to them. I received a reply which was a carbon copy to the first response. I asked for an explanation as why they thought it was my fault when the taxi arrived 3 hours after the time in their email. They are now ignoring my requests for an explanation and a refund of half the fee.
DO NOT USE HOPPA THEY ARE UNRELIABLE AND WONT RESPOND TO YOUR REQESTS VIA THEIR SITE.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!
Never using this company again!
I have used this company last year in tunisia and was perfect. Decided to use them again for palma Mallorca. When we arrived we got into our arranged taxi by hoppa and it was perfect.
However, for our return trip, the taxi/cab never showed up! Wtf! Our family consists of 5 :
a 17yr old, 12yr old and 10yr old. It was 6am and we were stranded.
Called hoppa atleast 3 times, when we got through we got told to call the driver. Never picked up the phone!!
We decided to book a local taxi through our hotel as we were stranded by hoppa. It costed us quite a bit too!
Please save your money and avoid!! Wish I read the reviews before booking!!

Great service in San Francisco from airport to hotel at Fishermans Wharf and return. Local comms from driver via WhatsApp, so make sure you turn on your wifi when you land recieve to instructions promptly. Driver was very early - even before the flight landed so was a bit upset with us. However he was polite and very good service in general. Make sure you add 30mins on to your pick up time so can get though customs and find luggage. This wasn't obvious when making the hoppa booking as it just asked for flight arrival time. No probs on return journey. 9/10.

I have used HOPPA several times, I will NEVER be using them again. They were booked to take us from our hotel to Tenerife South Airport. The original pick up time was 10.50am. The day before the transfer I had a text message with a link that stated that we were being picked up at 10.20. Fine, duly noted. 13 minutes later a WhatsApp message informed me that we were being picked up at 10.50 - the original time - fine. The following day reception phoned at 10.20 to say that our vehicle had arrived. 2 of us were ready, 2 were not. We went to the reception and explained to the driver that we had had two messages and assumed the one confirming the original booking time was correct. He drove off at 10.35, 2 minutes before the rest of the party arrived. I phoned Hoppa and was told that we had been informed that we were being picked up at 10.20 and that was that. There was no acknowledgement that we had received a later message informing us that we were being picked up at 10.50.
A cab was called and 2 minutes later we were in it, but it cost us €40
The easiest (and quickest) way to travel to and from TFS to a hotel is undoubtedly with a cab off the airport rank (on arrival) and a local cab company (on departure).
Hoppa's joining instructions at the airport have now twice been wrong - this time the cafe they said the driver would be at no longer exists..... says it all really!
A cab was called and 2 minutes later we were in it, but it cost us €40

Absolute garbage. They gave me the wrong pickup, forcing me to spend double on a cab to the airport, and then refuse to refund even though I have evidence of everything I said.
Do not trust, they will not be contactable in an emergency, and their team will straight up lie to you, and steal your money.

Awful company. Our plane was delayed by 1 and half hours out to Budapest. No one at airport to meet us. We did manage to contact someone to pick us up. No pick up time to get back to airport after 3 days in Budapest. We tried 24 hours before flight, generic messages, then sent questionnaire to choose which option we wanted. Picked pick up time, then nothing. We tried so many times with same outcome. We got the hotel to order a taxi for us. Hoppa spoilt our break by making it so stressful.

They will book you with taxi companies that do not exist, strand you when you are abroad, not answer communication and when the answer you two weeks later after you come home, NOT reimburse you for the booking! Whatever you do, do not book with them as you may end up stranded like us in the middle of the night and then NOT get money back!! We have lost £300, they are fraudulent in every way!

I have never dealt with such a poor, incompetent and rude company in my life! We arrived at the airport to no driver. The telephone number on the instructions says someone will call you back within 48 hours (ha-ha) JOKE!
Eventually, we found someone in the airport who helped us make contact and was told the driver was outside the pharmacy - I was stood outside the Pharmacy so that's the first lie!
Was then told someone would arrive in 15 mins...then hung up the phone! (second lie).
30 mins later, no driver. Got a private taxi in the end. They rang me whilst in the taxi to say someone was 15 mins away (probable third lie). Told them to stick it and that I would be getting a refund, to which the lady laughed, said I won't get a refund and hung up on me...AGAIN!
If you HATE your job that much, dont work in customer services!
As soon as I got home, I contacted the bank and got a refund - like I said I would!
Clearly no driver had been arranged prior to our arrival.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME USING THIS COMPANY AS YOU WILL BE LEFT STRANDED AND SPOKEN TO LIKE CRAP!

Same thing happened to us in Portugal had to get taxis and still no explanation as to why noone turned up.
