I am planning to come to Barcelona 9/10-9/15, and have 700 miles on my ebike in Oregon. What's the best way(s) to see La Sagrada & learn about Gaudi and history, gain a sense of the city's layout and features, and meet some people since I'm traveling alone? I don't drink or eat a lot of carbs (poquita diabetica).... but all the tours sound good, & I can probably only afford one.
Any suggestions?
I also want to see Monserrat (do you recomm nd that?) and if it's warm, swim at the beach. Or do you think by then it will be too cool?
Any suggestions are most welcome!

First of all I'm so jealous you're going there! barcelina was one of my favorite cities! I agree with everything Deborah k said about the ebike tour! It was a great experience! We booked tickets to walk upstairs at la sagrada and it was very worthwhile. We also went to park guell and walked the outskirts all the way to the top. We could not get tickets to the inside area on site so decided to book for the next day. If you want to go in you can most likely get tickets same day but on line. Don't make it a 2 day thing. It schedules by time of entry. We did not go to Monserrat bc our weather was not great. We were there mid October. I would think your dates are better. We walked from park guell all the way down to the Gaudi house. I highly recommend the tour for the house as well. Another fun adventure was the Segway tour. We did that which was surprising different than the ebike tour. Some similarities but nice to have a different take from a different guide. The gothic qtr was great and don't miss the candy shop and la plata restaurant. Local favorites! Miu miu "restaurant" also a favorite and crazy experience. Standing only and quite a wait but very worth it! Enjoy, yes so many choices! You can't go wrong with any!
