This tour of a beautiful and captivating city was made all the more interesting by our tour guide, the equally beautiful and captivating Gina.
Her extensive knowledge of the history of the city (with fascinating insight into the socio economic and political aspects) really brought the story of Girona and Catalonia to life.
Her warm, open personality made us feel like we were being shown all the secret, favourite places by your best friend and her truly excellent English was a godsend.
We MAY have taught her some new, somewhat unsavoury, english phrases to add to her vocabulary, but in our defence she started it with a trip to the Caganer shop.
This our is without doubt the best catered historical walking tour you could ever imagine I wish we had booked this tour for our first day, not the last.
I cannot recommend this tour, and Gina in particular, highly enough.
