A truly lovely place, we were greeted by the resident cats upon arrival and then the kind chap that ran it, the entry building was nicely stocked with fresh priduce from fruit, to honey and liquers and for a mere €2 entry fee and €3 for a bag of donkey snacks (dried Carob pods).
The next area was were the pens were for the donkeys and chickens that are on the sanctuary, they all seemed in good spirits and looked very well cared for and it was great fun to feed them (I also brought my own cat snacks).
We bought some items from the shop and chatted to the gentleman that ran it who told us about the sanctuary and the products they sell.
It's definitely been my favourite experience here in Cyprus so far

April 9th 2022: Owner informed us 7 of the Donkeys are due to give birth in coming weeks!
Highlights of this inexpensive activity would have to include the scenic drive. Once there Feeding the adorable donkeys, a honey tasting and insight into beekeeping, the freshly squeezed juice in the rustic cafe with the surprise million dollar panoramic view. And who knew about Donkey Milk?
Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, this unplanned visit turned out to be the visit was the highlight of our Paphos trip.

Kathikas village is beautiful like most villages in Cyprus. My review is more to write about Trakkos Donkey Farm. I have been visiting this place for years. The owner is friendly and his land is amazing. For a couple of euros you can visit the donkeys and for an extra couple of euros…you can feed them. There are also different types of birds and rabbits. It’s not huge so it’s perfect. At the right time you can see all the fruit and veg growing and also purchase what he’s grown. He also has bees so he produces honey too. When you’ve done all that you can sit and order a drink and take in the views of the mountains and Paphos. This will always be one of my favourite places

Donkey farm and cafe are at a beautiful location. The village isn't too far away and the drinks and entry are at a reasonable cost.
You're able to feed the donkeys, however there is the odd donkey shackled (water close by) hopefully they are well looked after.
Lovely day trip and as mentioned the cafe area after is amazing!

This was our first port of call on our return to Cyprus following the pandemic and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely old building and ambiance. Food was excellent. I had Yiannis special and my husband had the pork chop. Excellent value for money and washed down with village wine. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful village, there is a winery but the best thing I enjoyed was Trakkos Donkey Farm, it was lovely feeding the Donkeys and being in a wheelchair the owner and his friend came out when they saw us pull up and they helped get my wheelchair out of the car and pushed me around the farm. Afterwards we sat having coffee and Donkey milk yes Donkey milk it is just like skimmed milk but I’m not a milk drinker my friend loved it. The views are spectacular as you will see from the photos and only 2Euro entry. You can buy homemade honey gifts fruit and yes you guessed it Donkey milk. Kids would love this place so did us big kids. Well recommended.

Wow, what they've done in restoring this traditional wine making village is wonderful. Agro tourism at its best. I'd encourage anyone who wants to learn about Cypriot culture to visit.

A new café in Kathikas - 'Kathikas Square', open just 6 weeks is well worth a visit for a cooling drink, piece of cake or a snack.I visited today for the first time with a friend and we will certainly be back. Very relaxed, courteous, unobtrusive service. A welcome addition to the range of eating places which offers something different.
Owned by the same people who have the Farm Yard Taverna, also in the village.

Деревушка аутентичная и вы наслаждаетесь здесь прекрасной атмосферой спокойного Кипра, отличной едой и обстановкой в ресторане Farmyard и конечно есть замечательная винарня Vasilikon, где можно купить отличное белое вино (одно из лучших на Кипре из винограда сорта Ксинистери по цене 50 евро за ящик -12 бутылок) или 5 евро за бутылку. Сюда стоит заехать если живете в районе Пафоса

Kathikas is worth a visit. It has a lovely square and a laid-back vibe. There are several restaurants in the village and is part of the wine trail.
