We were blown away by b the beauty of the walk to the Falls. One visitor desvrobed it has prehistoric greenery. It's amazingly beautiful. I was in awe of nature's beauty.

The walk to the falls was as beautiful as the falls themselves. Such a treat to be soothed by the sound of rushing water while walking the we’ll maintained path. I enjoyed every step of my visit and was so appreciative of the clean and convenient facilities near the entry to the walkway. What a wonderful memory and experience!

If you are visiting Pyengana, the 10 minutes' drive to St Columba Falls is well worth the effort. The track lead you through lush and shady rainforest, which features many majestic tree ferns. At the end of the track is the waterfall, one of Tasmania's largest with a drop of more than 90 metres. It had been quite wet in the months before we visited the waterfall was raging. The walk to/from the carpark to the falls takes about 10 minutes each way on a well-made track. Coming in it is all downhill, coming out is a bit of a climb, but still not difficult.
What is difficult is the road on towards Ralph's Falls from St Columba. It is a shocker and after crawling along (in a rental car) for 15 minutes we decided to give Ralph's a miss, and turned back. We later heard the best approach for Ralph's Falls is via Ringarooma.

The falls are about a 10 Km drive past the Pyengana Farm Gate Cafe. Then a 15 min walk.
Easy down hill walk to the falls on a level well graded path.
The falls are quite high and on our visit we saw lots of water.
Bathroom available near the parking area.
Very worthwhile visit.

Nice scenic drive from St Helens and the road up to the carpark. We could hear the waterfall as we alighted and then spotted it through the treetops. We were on our lonesome and decided not to undertake the 600m walk to the falls. I ventured in a short distance and it was like walking through a tunnel of trees and ferns with the temperature dropping noticeably.

a 30 minute hike was more like 2 hours of meandering ad photographing some beautiful flora. The trail is well maintained ad easy walking albeit dowhill all the way in ad therefore uphill all the way back.

A beautiful walk down to these falls. Quite a hilly walk but a good track. Once we got to the bottom though it was magical. A very high (I think either the highest or one of the highest) falls in Tassie. Well worth a stop here to do this walk

a short walk from the car park will reward you with up close views of this beautiful waterfall. There is viewing spot just a few minutes walk for those who do not wish to walk all the way (which is not far)

Our party visited St Columba Falls after a period of rain and the experience was outstanding. The falls are located on an easy drive from a sealed main road and the walk to the falls is relatively easy and well marked. That said, the path to the falls may not suit those with mobility issues. The location is pristine and it is certainly a 'must-see' attraction when you visit North East Tasmania. Highly recommended.

Certainly worth the walk to this waterfall. We went just after rain so there was lots of water but I think it flows all the time
