No option to play without genting reward card. Nothing mentioned about this on their website. I changed my currency at very high conversion rate at the casino to play. I was told I need the card to play. The place where card is made, I was told that next appointment is after 6 hours. Those who were standing in queue also had to wait approx 1.5-2 hours as the queue was hardly moving. It all seemed like a bureaucratic government office. How can you expect international tourists to queue for so long just to get a stupid card. Really spoiled our day.

Nice Casino, mostly Chinese gamblers, it was a rainy day but still lots of visitors, if you have no where to go, this a place to spend your day with nice foods and funs place for kids.

Our experience was awful. We New Zealanders pride ourselves on being hospitable and tidy Kiwi’s. Even before entering the Casino the staff were not helpful at all. We felt frowned upon and looked down. We asked a question to try and understand the do’s and don’t and were told rudely to read instructions which were not at all in English. If they were we would not have asked the question.
When entering the Casino the overwhelming smoke was awful. We asked where the non smoking area was where a staff member who again treated us rudely pointed towards the middle of the floor. We walked through so much smoke before getting to the designated area for non smokers. It was disgusting.
Thought to use the toilet beforehand. These toilets were absolutely filthy. There were faeces floating in water throughout and urine all over the toilet seats. Busting to go to the toilet thought I would try another toilet. After visiting 3 others on sight which were no better I had to settle for the best of all. This whole experience made me gag. I raised the filthy toilets with 3 different staff and was told (my words and trying to be polite) they were clean enough. What on earth...
There were signs throughout the Casino that stated the slots games were some of the best in the world. Not sure who rated these but they were far from it.
This Casino was not only the worst we have visited and we have been to many all over the world.
Genting as a whole was AMAZING. Someone needs to do something about the Casino as it brings down down right down the experience which could be outstanding if the Casino standards were brought in line with the rest of the complex.
Don’t waste your precious money or time at the Casino. It is DISGUSTING and not English speaking friendly. Staff could do well by learning about customer service.
If we could post pictures we would but it was against the rules to take photos.

Won a lot here. Also knew when to stop. Can smoke everywhere, by the looks of it. Definitely will come back again.

Tempat perjudian di Genting, Sudah sangat terkenal. Bagi yang ingin masuk walau hanya sekedar melihat boleh. Di depan Casino ada penjaga. Tidak boleh membawa tas ransel ke dalam. Tapi mereka ada 1 tempat khusus untuk menitipkan barang Jika belum berumur di atas 21 tahun tidak boleh masuk.

Genting Highland Casino, located at Genting Highland, Pahang ...
It takes about an hour and half from downtown KL ( +/- 80 km), or two hours from the KLIA airport (+/- 140 km) ...
This highland, full of entertainment such as, indoor theme park, games, outdoor hiking, play gound, foodstall, resto, bar, casinoes, cable cars, etc ....

came here in june and took the cable car up. the line took about 45 minutes to get into the cable car. the cable car itself is really cool.
we went into the casino and wasnt very impressed. there are no bars in the casino, so you cant get a drink, everyone can smoke inside and they were ashing on the carpet. was pretty rank.
However, the precinct around it was pretty cool. they had movies, traditional food, international food and some cool bars.
Tip 1: Get the express ticket for 5 bucks aussie and you skip the queue for the cable car
Tip 2: Skip the casino and walk around the joint. there is heaps more to do than to lose ya money

Hotel staff not helpful at all. Asked for help because vending machine taken my money but did not dispense my food. Told me not under them and say they cannot help. Don’t even allow me to use their phone for a domestic call. During first night ask for change of room to same level as my family. Told me lots of stupid reasons. When I ask for her name, suddenly service became exceptionally well. Even offer so many alternative. Before just gave a stuck up attitude and heck care attitude. Lousy service! Rooms don’t even have shampoo, shower gel, tooth brush and tooth paste. We have to pay for it!

Pengalaman pertama kali kesini, langsung tercengang dengan interior dan suasana kasino yang benar - benar mirip di dalam film - film mafia hehe. Ruangan sangat luas, dengan para waiter dan waitress yang semuanya berjas rapi dan cekatan dalam membagikan kartu, menerima chips, dan tetap terlihat profesional.
Pengunjungnya sangat variatif dari segala kalangan usia (bahkan saat saya berkunjung, ada yang sudah sangat lanjut usia, masih cekatan main di meja Black Jack).
Sayangnya tempat ini tidak boleh difoto. Ingin mencoba ikut bermain jika ada kesempatan di lain waktu. :)
Pengunjungnya sangat variatif dari segala kalangan usia (bahkan saat saya berkunjung, ada yang sudah sangat lanjut usia, masih cekatan main di meja Black Jack).
Sayangnya tempat ini tidak boleh difoto. Ingin mencoba ikut bermain jika ada kesempatan di lain waktu. :)
