Brooks Gelato is lovely, but there aren’t many establishments that make and sell it, so we were very pleased to find this hidden gem, my soft serve sundae was delicious.
It’s sold from a wooden building which has a few seats available, plenty of picnic tables outside. Plenty of parking available.
It’s located just off the A6. We visited on a sunny day and sat outside.
Check opening times as they have changed since our visit. Usually open at weekends.

Staff could not be bothered limited flavour because of some event which is fine so no chocolate which I went for the ice cream we got was nice but the girl who served us was awful as if she couldn’t wait to get us out of the shop wouldn’t really bother with this place again it’s not as if it was busy also

Called in for gelatos. They looked amazing. They tasted amazing too, until my husband found a sharp piece of porcelain in his, then another.
We took the ice cream back and we were offered a refund and an apology.
But how on earth could this happen?
Luckily no one was hurt but it could have been very different.

Signposted just off the A6 towards Barton. Very fresh tasty soft gelato in some interesting flavours. Benefits from outdoor picnic tables, lovely field to sit on or play ball afterwards and large free car park.
There is also a viewing platform to the cow barn and the option to purchase raw milk or flavoured milk. Visit and support local independent makers. Look forward to another visit. Yum!

ten out of ten for one of the nicest lattes I've had (had a few) and the creamiest ice-cream. clearly their lovely milk is the key to all this. not the massive flavour range of their nearby competitors but enough to suit everyone. actually vanilla looked lovely too. can recommend cherry cheesecake. n.b. only open Wednesday to Sunday.

Brooks Gelato is part of a working dairy farm. We have driven past many times but alwasy busy. Popped in today 20 mins before closing and tried the gelato for the first time. Having just come back from Florence it was great to get home made gelato for £3.50 for 2 scoops. We have creme egg and cherry cheese cake in one and salted caramel and nutella in the other.
Both tasted delicious.

Popped in here briefly for a coffee and ice cream as passed by many times on way to get meat from local butchers but not had time to stop. What a find - delicious coffee and ice cream reasonably priced with lovely tables outside to stop and while away the time. Will be back again and they do a loyalty card which is an added bonus!

I stopped here for a coffee while driving past and I have to say that the latte was really nice. The only downside was the fact that they don’t do syrups and I did quite fancy a vanilla latte. Overall though it was enjoyable. I would definitely visit again for the gelato as I didn’t get the opportunity to try them.

The regular Artisan produce fairs were a great way to lift the winter lockdown blues in the lead up to Christmas. There was a good variety of local fresh food produce - cheeses, meats, condiments (amazing home-crafted mustard stall), craft beers as well as woodcraft and plant arrangements.
Even though it was outdoors everyone observed safe distances and were masked.
Although it was on a much smaller scale than the big city Christmas markets, it still had a lovely atmosphere. Hope they put on more similar events through the year when the Covid-19 regulations relax.
