The most memorable trekking trip i have had. ABC is so rewarding in every aspect. I have done this now for the 2nd time. May be i will do it again someday. taking different routes every time allows different experiences. The view from Himalaya to ABC is surreal.

Amazing trek to the Annapurna Base Camp, enjoying every single moment of it... also exhausting, never climbed so many steps in my life... But the views, Mount Machapuchare, Annapurna Range, the villages, the people, friends you make on the road, a really wonderful and rewarding experience!

Travel from 5 to 20 Dec 19, since the last visit in Dec 14. The tea house and the place have improved a lot although it loss some of rustic feel. The most of the room in teahouse along the trek provide power point that allow you to charge your devices and WIFI in the dinning area free (Modern World today have make it a necessary than luxury in the past).

The trek up the Phoon Hill is filled with crowd even it is not the peak season, spoken the guide and understand when it is peak season the place is standing shoulder to shoulder and there is road assess to certain areas if any member is not feeling well.

Things have changed and unavoidable but Its still beautiful as usual that cater to most of the new or casual trek with above average fitness.

I love this walk - in 6-9 days you see everything from rice paddies in villages, to amazing waterfalls, to soaring mountains, and deep valleys with glorious mountain views at every turn. It is very accessible from Pokhara which is good and bad. The walk goes along roads more now in the lower reaches, but the tea houses are better than before. It can be very busy though and this means the LITTER has become really bad. I was so disappointed this time to see how much rubbish was strewn all along the path - chocolate wrappers, plastic bottles, chip packets everywhere. It was fun to discover a Melbourne trained barista and his coffee machine as high up as Himalaya now, as well as a good cafe in Chhomrong. Still no western style toilets at ABC itself, but they have been retro-fitted to the showers in most other places now. Hot showers and wi-fi a bit hit and miss so be flexible about these things. A glorious walk - shame about the rubbish.

I am so gratful that i got a chance to experience such amazing trip. Tired but happy to see an awesome place like Annapurna mountains and Fishtail too. The tea houses during the trek were great even though just a humble one. They provide us with a warm meal and clean blanket. Enough to get rest after a long trek.

A close friend & I decided to try to tackle EBC. We knew we had some physical limitations at age 57, so chose the trek up, helix down option. Khum and crew were extraordinarily responsive to any & all pre-trek questions we had. They picked us up at the airport (different arrival times/days), and went over our trekking plans. We were introduced to our guide, Mingma Sherpa. We tried for 3 days to get to Lukla to start out trek, first by our planned plane ride, then by helicopter, but the weather refused to let up. Mingma stayed with us through all the airport waiting, taxi back to hotel & made sure we were happy & safe. After 3 days, we decided to re-route to ABC, and again both Unique Adventures & Mingma accommodated our needs. The ABC trek was difficult for us, but fantastic, and Mingma & porter Dev, were professional, upbeat and always helpful as we overcame our tiredness to push to have the BEST experience. I would 100% recommend Unique Adventures International for any trekking or other travel experience. Thanks to the team! So many cherished memories thanks to them.

It's quite 'up and down' as opposed to some of the other treks I have done which are mainly just up until you get to the summit, or follow a ridge. Some days, you will only go up 500m, and down 1500m, so the next day you'll have to go back up 1500m! The teahouses are great. Really good, hearty food - i recommend the Daal Bhat. We went in monsoon and the paths were deserted, which i really liked. We virtually had the trek to ourselves (and our dog that followed up from, and back to, a village).
