Nice, small museum with a good location.
Very interesting neighborhood.
The museum itself was the house of National Poet Hayim Nahman Bialik.
There is not so much to read in English, most of the things written in Hebrew.
It’s 2 floors. With some furniture of the poet himself. 6-18 years 10 shekels, adults 20 shekels. Clean bathrooms with drinking water.

Very well maintained old museum. Located on a private street, amongst many homes. Contains many vintage papers, art work and iconic items from long ago. Everyone is eager to assist and very hospitable. At night the building is lite in blue and pinks colors.

Chaim Bialik is the permanent national poet of Israel. His home is a jewel that will teach you a lot about this man in an exquisite setting. I never tire of going to this home in central Tel Aviv.

For anyone who has studied Bialik’s poetry, seeing his home and library is a treat. We were transported back to Tel Aviv’s earliest days. Pictured him picking up a book or having his tea in the spacious rooms overlooking Tel Aviv streets. Then read both history and poetry in well designed signs and pamphlets. A diverting visit!

The ”Bet Bialik” meaning “Bialik’s house/Home” is located on a wonderful street that also bears the name of the national poet beloved to this days. When you are walking along this lovely “Bialik Street” you are passing some lovely original Bauhaus buildings that have been renovated in recent years. Your feels like you’re walking back in time (as someone had written in a review before me). The Bet Bialik itself is a “real gem” and highly recommended, take a guide or a guided tour, especially if U R a tourist so that you can make the most of the benefit from visiting this interesting house and the tenant who lived there when the city of Tel Aviv was established.

We just walked on Bialik street and dropped into the house. It was the home of the famous poet Bialik. There was a group of children who listened to their teacher explaining the importance of the poet.

Bet Bialik--literally "the house of Bialik--was the residence of the poet laureate of modern Hebrew, Chaim Nachman Bialik--now transformed into a museum. Although the house dates back to the early 20th century, it remains an architectural wonder of gracious living from the early days of the Jewish settlement of Palestine. Bialik embodied what might be called the modern spirit of Judaism in Israel, advocating a liberal brand of Jewish practice which is only now starting to take hold in the Jewish state. People ordinarily think of Jerusalem as THE holy city in Israel, and Tel Aviv as its secular sister. But the truth is that Tel Aviv has its own unique brand of spirituality--the spirituality of a Shabbat spent on the beach, or strolling through Bet Bialik and its lovely neighborhood. It's significant that the birth of the modern State of Israel took place in Tel Aviv--the city which embodies the modern Jewish spirit of Bialik, more than any other city in Israel.

This is a remarkable little museum - the house where Bialik lived from 1924-34. It is a beautiful house in its own right, and the history of Bialik's work is intrinsic to an understanding of the development of Israel. Do collect a free guidebook at the entrance, as all captions on the walls are in Hebrew alone.

Bialik is an incredible figure in the history of Jewish literature, both Yiddish and Hebrew, as well as in the history of then Palestine-now Israel. The chance to visit his house and see his study, library, dining room and parlor, and to see works of art that he himself collected by some good, strong artists gives a great sense of connection––but it's a pity more information isn't available in languages other than Hebrew. The guidebook in English was no more than satisfactory. But for a small museum that gives you a step back into the past, it's quite nice.

A tour guide is a must. Bialik is a well known poet. Try to read some of his poetry later on the internet. However, he was much more than that. You get the biography of this fascinating man who was one of the giants who helped shape the State of Israel. He was an editor, book writer, etc and he helped to shape the modern Hebrew language. This is on the same block as the Reuvan Rubin museum which is also is a small museum/home showcasing his artwork. Across the street is the one room Bauhaus museum. We didn't realize that many of the types of furniture we have today originated during that period.
