This was an excellent tour that visited all the sights we wanted to see while in Beijing. Our tour guide Lilly really made the two days wonderful. She provided much more information that I had read in preparation for this adventure. She was very positive and moved us at a comfortable pace. The restaurants she chose for lunch each day had plenty of great food for everyone. I very much recommend this tour and hope you get Lilly as your guide.

Our tour guide and driver was awesome. They really help us in a good way. Mr Kong Lin managed everything via WeChat during our trips. Prices are reasonable and no shopping.

We were lucky enough to find Mr. Lin and his company on the internet, which I know, sounds kind of scary- you are counting on this guy to pick you up at the airport or at the cruise ship terminal, to drive you around and to feel at ease on long car rides. Put your fears aside- we are experienced travelers and I can tell you that Kong Lin and his company are top rate. Mr. Lin picked us up at Tianjin, the cruise terminal for Beijing and dropped us off at all the places we wanted to visit, with clear instructions on where he would meet us for pick up and how to pick up the tickets he had pre-arranged. We saw more sites in two days than I ever thought would be possible. Kong was super friendly, spoke great English and is genuinely a nice person. His vehicle was clean, comfortable and he is an outstanding driver, squeezing through the tight and tough spots in Beijing traffic without causing any undue stress on the passengers. He looked after us making sure we had bathroom breaks, food breaks and even finding us Starbucks when we needed a coffee fix. I cannot say enough about Kong and his company. If you are traveling to Beijing via cruise, for the price of a ropeline crappy motorbus excursion, you can take a private tour, travel in comfort and at your own pace. Mr. Lin will make sure you are back at the terminal in plenty of time and meeting up with him off the ship is as easy as can be. I cannot recommend him enough.

Me and my three (almost) adult daughters had Rita as our tour guide for three days this week. Both she and the different drivers were perfect - always on time, smiling, helpful, knowledgeable and with excellent advices, even when the first days 8-hour trip became a 10-hour tour. Highly recommended!

Had booked 2 trips with konglin for airport to hotel and whole day trip to great wall + ming tombs + olympic park. Both trips went very smoothly! Booking the trips via email with konglin was super easy and he responds quickly.
Our drivers were very kind and knew what to do. Konglin was also checking up on us with the driver from time to time to know where we went.
I highly recommend konglin when you book a tour to the great wall. Excellent service at reasonable prices :)

We contacted Kong Lin 3 months ahead of our trip to Beijing. He gave us different quotes each time I asked him, but this was because he got confused with our number of pax. His price was overall price was reasonable.
We requested for airport pickup and there was a Chinese fellow holding a sign with my name, but it wasnt Kong. Someone else who knew close to zero English came to pick us. Luckily, my parents was fluent in Mandarin. Later, Kong called and mentioned that he could not pick us up and had assigned another driver to.
Lucy was our guide for 4 days. She speaks good English, very friendly, however, she really needs to brush up on her History and knowledge of the places she took us to. The places she took us for lunch was great - especially those near the Hutongs.
We only met Kong on Day 2 when he took us up to the Mutianyu Great Wall. He didnt speak much and was just a driver. The other days, another driver was assigned.
Overall, the service was just ok. It would have been excellent if the guide had better knowledge about the places that she took us to.

We visited China and did a 5 day private tour with Kong Lin. He did a great job. His English was good and he was very easy to deal with. His rates were quite reasonable. He did not plan our itinerary, (I wanted to do that), but did whatever we asked, making good suggestions along the way. He even took the way I wanted to get to The Temple of Heaven(I believe), which was longer than normal, but fun because a boat ride was involved. I would highly recommend him for a private guide.

When planning a trip with a private guide or driver, always make sure you do your homework no matter what reviews you read about the service. I think correspondence is important as it gives you a window to the person you are talking to. After much research, I settled with Kong Lin for a driver to take us around Beijing and its outskirts attraction. He provided us with a good driver, a Mr. Feng and we were really satisfied with his service. My husband speaks Mandarin so there was no problem with communication.Kong Lin's prices for the tour was reasonable and I had no problem with emailing back and forth with him. I think the most important thing is to be exactly clear what you want and what you expect in the tour. He also helped us to purchase high speed rail tickets to Pingyao. Would recommend Kong Lin if arranging a private tour in Beijing.

Kong was a great driver. He picked us up right on time at the location we discussed. He can communicate perfectly in English, as well as his wife Violet, who handled all of the emails.
We went to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Kong purchased all of the appropriate tickets that we needed. After the wall we went to Jingshan park. At both locations Kong was waiting for us when we were done. He even dropped us off for some food when we asked.
Everything that was discussed in our many emails was delivered exactly. I would recommend Kong to anyone who is looking for a private driver.

It was a wonderful relief to be greeted by name by Konglin at the Beijing airport! I had booked his services as airport pick-up/drop-off and also as tour guide/driver combo based on previous positive reviews on Trip Advisor, and I was never disappointed.
His price was excellent, and he selected an English-speaking tour guide to accompany us on our outing to the Great Wall, Summer Palace, restaurant and show who was excellent with my four young daughters. I appreciated his knowledge about Beijing — especially in relation to its contrasts to other countries, and I found driving with him to be a pleasure as I could ask about almost anything I saw and receive an answer.
Konglin was punctual and his car is super-clean. He's efficient and can modify any tour to suit you on-the-fly. He's easy to get along with and a good companion. He pre-booked tickets to save us time and money and I paid him the total at the end. It saved having to join queues at the tourist attractions.
I recommend his services highly and also those of Linda who served as tour guide for us during one day's outing.
